Yes it is possible. It is recommended that you have 5000 lumens per sq ft for flowering (IMO you can get by well with 3000 lumens per sq ft for vegging). Figure out how many CFLs you will need from that. You may be amazed to find out that CFLs are less efficient than HPS for flowering. Watt for watt and lumen for lumen, CFLs are hotter, cost more to purchase initially, cost more in electrical costs, and produce substantially less bud than HPS. I am really not sure where the false notion that CFLs are cheaper originated.

You have seven plants there. If four turn out female, consider how much space you'll need. Your setup looks ok with the plants that size, but some decisions lie ahead.

do you have some air flowage in there? you'll deff. need some. you can switch 'em to 12/12 anytime now that you want. depends how big your gonna want 'em. i would veg them longer myself. good luck...bb...

Your plants look healthy, but they seem somewhat small for a month old. Do as THG suggested; try to get 3000 lumens per square foot for vegging. Move the lights in as close to the tops of the plants as possible, without burning them.

You can flower those using fluorescent lights if you want, but the buds would be better with an HPS. However, I did a complete fluorescent grow, beginning to end, and I had nice dense buds. I was happy with the results. I believe how well plants do under fluoros is somewhat strain dependent. I've seen people who used fluoros for the complete grow and the buds were fluffy and wimpy. I think fluoros work best with Indica varieties. I bet they wouldn't work well for Sativas.

for air flow i have two small fans goin my setup is in a unused bedroom closet and i also leave the door open. it sounds like i need more lights ! right now i have one 40 watt and two 20 watts per 4 plants. i threw away the box and cant remeber the lumens.
