I have a pathetic Charlie Brown-esque apple tree that buds in...July, I think, and most of the apples ripen around now. They are small, oddly shaped (though symmetrical) and too sweet for crab apples, in fact the flavor is like a tart pear. Even I pick and eat em sometimes and usually the only Apples I can stand are the kind with a keyboard and the kind who sings "Sleep to Dream". They would make a bitchen hard cider, ideally mulled. Shots of them tomorrow earlier in the day.

Sounds like a lady apple to me...? Maybe Cripps Pink. I bet they will make an amazing cider!
