guys please help me, today i noticed that the leaves of the plants looks awfull, one of the plants looks very yellow and dry, and the other one looks very strange its started to take a gray silver color from the middile of the leaves to the end.. what is this? and why this is happining..

the soil gets dry quickly i need to water the plants 2 -3 times a day, if its because of the MH light i keep it 20 inches away from the top of the plants.. so should i keep more distance bettwen the plant and the light, also i have a fan to move the heat and the air..

please help me i dont want to lose my first grow

have you added nutes too them at all? what sort of soil is it?

Leaves are curled under like a ram's horn, and are dark green, gray, brown, or gold. >> Over-fertilization
(too much Nitrogen). But they can also turn gray from not having enough potassium (K)

i would say if your light was too close, then youd know it, leafs would curl upwards and dry up, not lack of luster

if its a Boron deficiency then growing shoots would turn grey, appear burnt or die. Treat with one teaspoon of Boric acid (sold as eyewash) per gallon of water.

Hmmm...Thats weird never heard nothing like this before, I know its not the light that's doing this so don't worry about that, Maybe it has to do with the soil because watering 2-3 times a day is not normal. Are you using nutes? What type of soil?

i would say they look a bit young for nutes..... jus water and bring the light a little closer .. how many watts on the MH..? ANY chance of a better pic..

Yea there WAY to young for nutes that's for sure, That's how I killed my plants last grow!!!
If you are using nutes flush em right away!!!
If you can get some better pics too, You can barly see anything!

thanks akirahz..i addes some nut (tommatos food) only in the last 2 waterings and i didnt use to much, iuse less than the nut box says. the soil im using called (florabella) its the only one i find- but i didnt use it with all the plants only with the one one the right picture- and the one in the left picture its in regular garden soil ..

i wanted to try the soil before i trans al the plants, but they both look sick..

the soil gets dry very fast? why is that? ithought maybe because of the light heat? or maybe because of the fan?

what should i do now

yeah definatly too young for nutes, thats why i asked if he was adding nutes oh yeah here are my periods

yea flush ur plants i realy dont understand why any one uses nute in germ period ,,i mean they grow great just without any nutes at all from what ive seen outhers plants look like when they nute 2 earley and the plant cant suport the nutes ,ive decided to never nute a plant till i no it can take it because like i said it way 2 easy to burn them right up,,now one day when im more experinced mabey ill get more calm about useing nutes but untill then im gonna stick with not giving my plants any nutes till about the 3 our 4 week mark ,and my plants our doin great no burn at all ,,also u should not even be watering 3 times a week ,and u said ur watering like 3 times a day,, wow i think u may have a heat issue what is ur temps at when everything iis closed up ,,i no ur light is not to low but that does not mean ur not burning ur plants with heat because i noticed if my temps got hi my soil would dry out very fast ,,so im thinking heat ,,and some nute burn ,,witch togather im shure will kill ur plants very quick ,,if u get the temps down and the nutes flushed out they may snap right back ,,i wish u luck bud

HAPPY GROWIN TOM TOM
AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have to agree with the others that it is too early for nutes. Are you using a soil probe to check soil moisture? It sounds like too much water also. If the lower soil is holding water and the top is drying out the roots could be starved for oxygen. When I grow seeds in soil I only water once a day if even that. A probe really helps to keep from over watering. Or you could just pick up the container and see if it feels wet. My seedlings are in dwc right now, about the same size as yours. I am using plain water (no nutes) and they look healthy.

thanks everyone.. i used nutes after some of the members here recommend them for weak plants, i dont have a thermomiter!! where can i find it?

How can i flush the nutes and clean the plants again? please help my and dont let the babies die!!

Thanks

start dumping water into the pots until you see water coming out the drainage holes at the bottom of your pots

one of the plants died today.. i have only one plant alive with gray leaves, also a new seed sprouted today! idont want to kill it like the other

remember, not much water...you could always go dwc, cant overwater that and its kwik and efficient.
