A couple weeks ago, we were all hit in the chest with the news of losing one of our own, Rasta, to a drunk driver. Recalling how I felt about that, I can honestly say we just don't know how it really feels, until it hits us at home. This morning, a good friend of mine lost her life in a car accident, to a drunk driver going in excess of 100mph. I'm not much on driving under the influence as it is... I like to sober up a bit before I get behind the wheel. But this morning, I've been chastising myself for the times I have driven a little too inebriated, but I'm glad I had the brains not to jeopardize anybody's life without a care in the world, like the man who took my friend's life did. I'd just like to take a couple moments out of your mornings to remind you guys not to drive when you're drunk. Call someone, call a cab if you have to. WALK, if it's possible. But please, don't drive drunk. :/

CMJ, RIP 11/19/11. Gone, but never forgotten. You will make a beautiful addition to His army, babe.

Sorry for the loss getnasty...

take care and be safe everyone

Sorry for your loss nasty. Ive lost a friend this year due to someone drunk crossing over the yellow line and hitting my friend head on. Thinking back on my teenage years, I drove drunk so many times and was so crazy, I am so lucky that I never killed anybody. Nowadays I dont drink and drive at all. I will walk or find a ride if I have too.

I am sorry about your friend Nasty. That is tragic.
I am always the designated driver in our family. My friend lost her 16 year old to a drunk driver.

Sorry about your friend. :(

I, too, have driven drunk countless times. I've been lucky.

I knew someone who lost their life from drinking and driving. He drove into a tree and died on impact. Luckily no one else was involved in the accident.
