If where you live is NOT open to the outside and is heated or air conditioned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and your grow room has this same heat and air conditioning or air conditioning of it's own, then vote NO in this poll.
If you shut off the heat and the air conditioning or just don't even have any air conditioning or heat where you live, and your grow room is subject to the temperatures of Mother Nature via open doors and windows or vents to it, then vote YES in this poll.
I'm trying to see how many people live as I do. In the very tip of Florida, it gets way too hot and way too humid to even think about living in the natural air inside a house.
Everyone has the a/c on or the heat for the 6 days that need it each year, and my grow room is just the master bedroom/bath in my house. The bedroom has a 16 foot ceiling and the bath is huge. My "Mother" plants will fill the bedroom part, the bathroom is for clones and a couple of new Mothers and the walk in closet in the bedroom is my flowering room.
My other room is under construction but will be for flowering only. It's one of the guest bedrooms.
My power bill is around $250 during the summer, but since I grow year-round, the power trackers see a nice even flow that drops as it should in the short winter months. I track it also.
I'm betting that I'm a minority. Most people love to get fresh air. I do to. I just do it by going outside when I want and back into my nice 80F degree house to cool off. Now, if I can ever afford that indoor pool. Ha!
