Hi guys I just went out and got my things to build my box its going to be 8ft-long 4ft-wide 6ft-high, the question I'm asking is do I have enough lighting hopefully one of yous can tell me before I start on the weekend.:hubba: I read that I need 3000 lumens (per-sqft) for Veg and 7500(per-sqft) for flowering if this is right I'll need 96000 lumens for veg and 240000 for flowering! I hope thats not the case because The lights I have are as follows a 400w MH-36000(lumens) and six cfl's that total 10000 lumens the MH is on top and theres going to be 3 cfl's at each end the whole room is covered in mylar if that helps me at all, anyways let me no what you guys think because I would love to get started thanks again Phatpharmer:hubba:

You have 32 square feet area (8 foot x 4 foot)

Minimum lumens = 3500 per square foot
reccommended lumens = 5000 per square foot

You have total of 46,000 lumens (36,000 + 10,000)

46,000/32 = 1437 lumens per square foot.

Sorry phat, but that isn't going to be enough. You want to double at least, or preferably, triple your present lumen count.
