Hey all if you have been following my trials and tribulations on cloning, here is another setback.
I built a aero cloner as per the DIY here.
I cut 15 fresh cuttings it is capable of holding 25,I finished filling it up with cuttings from the bubble cloner per the DIY here, also used a few from my peat pellets,I ended up with 25 making my cloner full.
I also purchase my water from a local store(kroger) it is RO water ph runs from 5.1 to5.5 so far after 60 gallons, ppm is 15-20.
Dip n Grow is stated by others to be a good cloning helper,it may be.
When I cut my cuttings,
I dipped them in the aforementioned chemical.Well Lo and Behold in a few days 3 I think,we had the begining of a gelatinous substance forming on the stems.
Well as usual Im left with 8 in the aero cloner,I thought tha maybe it was because of the strain WW, but that is not the case.I now have 10 cuttings in a glass of water ph'd to 5.5-5.8.
So has anybody else experianced this with dip n grow doing this to theirs ?
I havent given up on the aero cloner yet,I will try again with just plain ph'd water when adn if these die off or root whatever comes first.lol

Happy Green Mojo to All
