Cutting back light outdoors?

So i started thinking.... if i dont want to wait till late in the season to acheive bud i need to cut back the light. That part is understood. right about now i would say i would get buds at or around october which to me is a little to long since i leave for school in october. I have two plants that are about a foot high right now, from what i can tell I see no signs of it being male or female.. how do i cut back the light outdoor? what are some tricks you guys do to cut back the light. I understand indoor growing you simply turn off the lamp. Outdoor is a different story, I was thinking a black trash bag? any answer would help - first time growr.

black trash bag or some kind of box with a fan/ventilation type thing that allows no outside light in... I know of growops in the woods that get garbage bags put on them for 12/12

Well, with the sun heat and temp of summer around 80F+ . Putting a black plastic trash bag would be bad right ? No air flow to the leaves and would make it like an oven like environment for the plant . Aint that gonna be bad ? Are your two plants in pots or in the ground TreeBert ? If in the pot just bring it inside and outside with 12/12 for a few weeks to sex them out, hard work though. If you planting them in the ground then i guess there not much you can do about it.........so using a black trash bag would be your only choice then. Or if anyone else could think of something and help you out . 12/12 now with summer light outdoor is hard to achieve. Let's 'em grow, i will harvest them for you in oct .......LOL just joking !!

iclown do you know if the growops with the trashbags over them come out succesful? Like asian sky was sayin, id imagine it would get ungodly hot in the trash bag. i dont know... both my plants are a little over a foot, one is obviously stronger then the other tho, (more leaves thicker stem etc,) when do you think it will bud naturally?

well i will take a shot at this...just keep in mind no light leaks to achieve what you are after...

at 1 foot tall how about a Black Garbage can? New of course...cutt 4 inch hole in Bottom for CPU fan...run 4 inch flex hose from top of can over to 6 inches off ground..Power this with 6 volt Battery...And the Hardest thing to do is...put can over plant same time everyday...Good luck my friend
