Actually, Mexican marijuana smugglers with 500 lbs or less go free. The video shows a Federal official admitting that they don't have the assets to prosecute them. Mexican smugglers don't have many assets to seize. So, they can't pay fro their own prosecution like Americans do. They throw us in prison, seize our assets & for far smaller quantities. What about the 14th amendment right to equal protection under the law. Americans should go free for marijuana offenses too.

That is crazy. I swear this government is so screwed up... Thanks MPash. Take care and be safe.

As long as it's for growing their own stash or growing for someone who is on a Med MJ program, I agree.

Anyone who grows large scale is just as much part of the problem of MJ legalization as the cops are.

Small time personal stash growers should NEVER be prosecuted.

Workplace MJ testing should STOP.

If someone is stupid enough to do something while impaired on MJ or any other substance that harms others, then fine, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Put them in prison. I don't care. Being impaired on MJ while driving or whatever is just as bad as someone boozing it up and getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. (Please don't give me any "I drive better when I'm messed up). Impaired drivers kill people. There is a time and place for getting high. At work, while driving, while flying an airplane, or working in a hospital are a few of the stupid times to get high.

If someone is using MJ in an intelligent manner and not causing any harm to anyone, I say LEAVE THEM ALONE.

Go after the big crime lords. The ones who murder people.

(Ole Stoney/Potus climbs back down from his soap-box...)

Without profit there would be no motivation for commercial growers. But the fact remains that they are still a necessary evil. If it was legalized their would be no crime lords growing MJ but commercial growing would still exist but now it would be in the same fields that mom and pop farmer were growing corn in the previous year.

I agree with the rest of what you are saying but you got to remember there are guys like me out their that without commercial growers wouldn't have steady access to MJ, I'm just learning to grow now and will hopefully soon not have to rely on commercial growers but for now I do.

Just my 2 cents

I hear you man. If regulated to keep the low-lifes out of the picture, mom and pop farms would be just fine. No one gets hurt that way. As a result of how it's done now, lots and lots of people are hurt by these big time growers. That's why they all have lots of guns and have no problems using them to "protect" their huge crops of weed.

The whole thing is a racket.

Yeah its ridiculous.
