Oh no, no one wants my autos. I have to kill them or find them a home. I'm wondering how cold it will get in the attic with no heat, but a couple of grow lights. I'm thinking that is the way to go, since there's no room in the tomato tent. The one tomato plant is really taking over the 2X4, and it has a lot of young tomatoes growing already. I'm a tomato addict, eat them like they are apples, at least one a day. And the freaking things are expensive! I bet I save $300 this winter, even with the cost of the two 150W lights in the tent running 24/7.

Im still growing tomatoes outside. Just moved some of my pepper plants inside though.

Down to one seedling in a solo cup. All of those looked weird when they germinated with fat tap roots and skinny stems. At least I have one freak looking pretty healthy. It will probably be a male : )

Also moved the three largest autos into larger pots and into the attic under a 300W Mars Hydro light. Also put them on Auto water pots, so I don't have to go up there every day. I left the last two in the tomato tent for now, but will probably chop them soon.

Instead of culling the last two females I up potted them and stuck them in the attic sharing one of the large auto pots. As small as they look I'll probably get an ounce of bud between the five if I'm lucky. It was 41 degrees in there this morning, and I hooked up a little heater set to come on between 40 deg and 50 deg. They seemed perfectly happy at 41 deg.

Here's the grow room with everyone up potted and defoliated.

Notice the one in the solo cup hasn't grown at all in 5 days, so it's not just the seeds giving me trouble. With luck the SF in the fabric pot is a male, and I can make more seeds crossing with the clone I'm getting tomorrow. I learned the clone is from a clone I gave my friend a while back, and she has been cloning it over and over. I hope it's not a clone of the one that made these seeds!

Not sure how cold it got in the grow room last night, but they are looking pretty unhappy this morning. They look over watered too. Maybe I screwed up the nutrient mix, except the SF and the GDPA got the same water and still look fine. The plants in the attic had temps at 35 deg last night and are still fine as well.

Definitely over watered. When the weather turned colder last few days I kept watering at the same rate. The two near the wall don't get as much air flow, so they didn't dry as fast as the others. When I noticed them drooping a little I stupidly thought they were dry and gave them even more water. Picking them up to verify would have disturbed the whole time lapse photo thing : )

I added a small 4" fan to blow on the back two plants and they are already looking a little better this morning. I might add a heater if they don't dry out and perk up today. The male is dumping pollen everywhere, and both females are finally developing some buds. I wonder if visiting this room then going in the attic might be carrying pollen to the other females. I hope not, but it's no big deal either way.

The little GDPA is also in flower. Maybe an F1 cross with these F1's will produce some larger plants!

I gave up on the SF in the solo cup. It had some decent roots, so no idea what happened to it. But it was definitely dead and dry on top. I've lost interest in trying to get another one to pop. The one I have only made it because I cracked its shell for it and nursed it along while its sibling autos massively out grew it. I will wait for the clone from my friend and make more clones to pollinate from that.

Starting a few F1 Godfather OG X Big Sandy Holy Weed (GOG X BSHW) plants now. These were the two largest indoor plants I have grown, so I expect their kids to be monsters as well. With the attic setup for growing I now have room for lots of plants, or a few large ones. Might try the floating screen approach on one, assuming I get a female.

I'd have to agree with the over watering. In them colder temps they drink less. Stir up the air and it gets even colder.

I'm battling this myself. I had to slow down watering as I was not paying attention to the colder temps. They don't like cold water waterings either so I have to make sure the tap is set to warm instead of straight cold water.

Seems just like things tag us in the butt sometimes. Oh well, we get it done.

Good to hear ya might throw in a floater. I think you like it.

Three days of growth in the attic plants. Lots of peripheral movement. Trying to get the place ready to dry wall.

This just proves that I need to accessorize my grow room better. I need a zero gravity recliner in my grow room……and it moves in every frame too, so it’s being used! Nice!!! If my wife thinks I spend too much time in there now…..add a recliner!! Haha. Cool photography too!

I like to work up there sometimes, just relax in the chair with my laptop. No one can find me, so I actually get stuff done. Well, at least until I fall asleep.

You betcha. If I didn't want the children in the attic pollinated, I'd take a shower and change clothes before I went up there.

I learned the hard way about watering in the cold months. The plants don't use as much water when it's cold and the soil doesn't dry out near as fast.
Good point I've had to drill into my thick head as fall/winter/springs rolls in. Time to tweak myself instead of my plants...lol

The little heater I have in the attic is barely keeping up. With no drywall the place is completely vented, so the heat dissipates pretty quick. I should have set up a tent, and might still do that. It will be colder tonight, and much colder tomorrow night. I wonder if I have room for the 4X4. No need for anything but the tent and a light, and maybe a small fan for circulation.
