hey all just had a question about curling fan leaves. what does it mean when the very tips of the fan leaves curl down like a claw. the plants are in the 3rd week of flower and have no other signs of problems and seem otherwise healthy. is it light/heat issues or nute/water. sorry i cant post any pics. any ideas would be much appreciated

bro it depends, it could be nute related, could be overwatered. i need to see the leaf matter inbetween the veins to tell. undercurl could be himidity, heat or a number of things. you got pics?

borrow someones cam and get photos on her fast
the plant tells you everything bro.

naw man no pics. but i think i figured it out after browsing a little. too much nitrogen.

were the plants yellowing and browning from the tips after curling?

thats a sign of over ferting.

pics will help...flush and give a light nute solution and they will perk back up....

no yellow or browning like nute burn and sorry but i dont have a way to put up pics.

well another odd thing i noticed before i put them to bed was that the fan leaves were now pointing straight up on one of the plants. coincidentally i just replaced the 400w hsp bulb that day and the light came on real amber like it should then gradually seemed to turn a brighter white glow. the bulb is grow bright 55k lumen. the bulb i had before this was also brand new but defective from htg supply. it would only turn fully on half the time. could this be a bad ballast. it doesnt make any funny noises or anything plus this new bulb has lit up right away
