This is not new. I found it in some old posts from 2012.
And, I'm not sure "extraction" is the right word. It's really just mixing the cannabis to prepare it for cooking or edibles. Infusion might be a better word.
The neat part is that the decarboxilization is done by the heat created by a reaction of the citric acid rather than the temperatures in an oven.
From the very few people I found who actually tried it, they said the potency was much greater than an oven decarb.
I have some dry sift sitting around, I may try it.
