Northeast Ohio only got .2 inches overnight. No damage but rain forecast for next couple days. I put nets around the plants that looked most at risk from branches cracking. Damn those big colas

Well it is starting to stable up. After making my way in got some fence posts and stakes in the ground. Tied thing's up. Going to wrap netting around it when I'm done trimming.

Well so far it has held up to the first round. We'll see, this afternoons storm is supposed to be heavier.

It would make things a little easier if the weather people could forecast a little more accurate. 15 to 30 and 30 to 50 mph winds is a big difference. That would be the equivalent to telling the cop who just asked you if you know how fast you were going. Answer.....me: 25 cop: more like 50 and in a school zone.

Spent the last 7 hours taking down 3 plants and rescuing the garden. I don't know how many pounds yet but should be between 2 and 3. Makes wifey happy and very high. I'm a little happy too.
