thank you massproducer, ill have some new pictures today of my room. Just wanted to say ThankYou! New cloner is already in production. made a 30 site, i have 15 Casper's and 15 Mendecino Trainwreck in it now. oh they came of pretty plants.

anybody can build this. and save yourself at least $150....

find a post by massproducer and youll find his link. PROPS mass...:D

did you use cloning gel with your cuttings?or clone solution in theres?i also built one and haven't tried it yet for mj.girl keeps it full of flower cuttings.works pretty good for that.just curious.yeah it was a snap to make.thanks again massproducer

We built one that holds 24 clones and may i say it works like a champ. ;) 24 out of 24 clones rooted in less than 2 weeks. :hubba: We don't use any cloning gel or powder.

im not sure how mine is doing. they look like they dying. but we'll see. i do know i need to get a heater for the water, im pretty sure thats why mine dont look so good,, water too cold. no signs of roots, but i thought i could see a few bumps starting. it might just take longer in the cooler water.

yes it will take longer in cooler water to see roots or bumps, just be patient. What temp is your water at? Make sure that your stems do not dry out too much as well.

im thinking around 72. room temp is 73. i did use some cloning gel with a little solution in the water. i know distilled would probably be preferable, but i do aireate the water i use for at least 48 hours before use. they are not under a dome. they were sprayed down with Anti-wilt spray, my local guy swears you can clone and put directly under a 1000w with spray , same day. i have mine under 2 t-5's. the actuall tops still looks healthy, its the lowers that are yellowing.

Are the clones just cannablizing those lower leafs?
current temp.... im checking now

yup, yellowing on the bottom leaves are totally normal and just means that the clone is using its stored food, to create roots. So in fact it is a pretty good sign.

it is supposed to keep water temp at 78. that should be better. thanks again for all the help.

i might be in the wrong thread.but i built 1 of these cloners also.works great for my girlfriends flowers.i have never honestly tried it on mj.the deal here is this,i decided to try hydro.being new to soil also.1 plant grown in soil.but i'm not stupid and can read.i was ready to put my plants into flower and i had a mother i wanted to flower also.i took a clone from the mother and instead of using the tried and true method that brother hick has,i put the clone directly into a 5 gal. bucket dwc, using cloning gel and cloning solution to soak the groton cube with.placed the cube into groton in 5.5in net pot. the hussey has not even stopped growing.this was done as a test really.i used ph'd distilled water, thats it.oh,with a plastic bag stretched over the top of the bucket, with a wannna be grow lite shining on the bag.not inside anything but my living room.the hussey is thriving.is this normal?heck if this will work,i am going to fill up some buckets with clones, lol trying to get out of dirt.if this is stupid just delete it.thanks all for all comments
oops,i did not use cloning gel, except on the clone herself.
