I'm putting together a 7ft x 6ft x 6ft 4" high greenhouse. Quick and cheap using 1/2 PVC pipe and fittings, and heavy plastic sheet. I'm going to drape it with shade cloth to protect against the too-intense sun and curious helicopter people.
I should be able to fit some good size plants in there so I am thinking of getting a selection of strains from different breeders, using the same supplier I used last time.

So, I thought about trying this selection:

1. Utopia Haze (Barneys Farm)
2. Critical Jack Herer (fem) (Delicious)
3. Royal Haze (fem) (Dinafem)
4. Isis (fem) (Dutch Passion)
5. 8 Miles High (Mandala)
6. Kalichakra (Mandala)
7. Agent Orange (TGA Subcool)

Best of luck...will look for te GJ next summer...be sure to use the "T" conectors an reinforce the frameing...will the shade material block the neeed lumes? and are ya starting these inside then transfer to GH? just my thaghts..

take care and be safe:bolt::bong:

I wonder how hot it will get inside even with the shade cloth.

:peace:

That's why all the strains are sativas!

About the T connectors, I ran out of them, going to buy more today!
I'll build a couple of opening windows into the top to encourage air flow on hot days.
As for the shade cloth, believe me I get all the lumens I need, and more. Last season all the tomatoes were killed by the direct sunlight. They literally cooked on the plants.
4U, yes, I will start them in the grow room and aim to have them in the greenhouse by, say, March.

Are there any strains there that anyone has tried and found to be second-rate? Comments welcome.

Wish i could build a green house naibors are to nosey, Aggravating old people started last year and come home 1 day and found him out back trowing rocks in my garden and looking at my peppers like he wantes to stop them. What mil plastic are ya going to use and how u plan on hiding smell, hreen houses reek but i still want 1

And if u plan on putting them out in march wont they flower or is that what ur going for. not a lot of daylight that time of year.

The sativas don't care, they like 12-12. I've had a local sativa (donated plant) outside for the last 4 weeks, 11 hours of daylight, about 6 hours of sunshine. It is 2 ft tall now and vegging with no problem.
The indicas though . . . I move the four indica clones out of the grow room every morning and into the sunshine, it's the only way I can keep them in veg. (I run the lamps at night to allow me to do this).
It's a pain, but until I can build a seperate grow area for veg, it's the best I can do.

Sounds interesting...can't wait for the GJ...all those strains sound top notch to me...but I have not grown any of them. GL!
