Do u think its is worth collecting male pollen from your plants to cross them with another. if so does anyone know how long the pollen can be saved before used

Depends on the male IMO.
Male selection is difficult in my opinion.
but if all you got for seeds then I would cross it just to learn from it and read up on breeding in the mean time. I moved this question to our breeding section....at the top is a sticky with some links to resources dedicated to crossing and breeding.
unfortunatley the growing community deems males to be bad in a grow....this is NOT true, males are just as important as females in the preservation of phenos and genos. IMHO
Now I have never succesfully stored pollen (I tried trust me) but others have I'd wait for them to chime in.

I thought i had read in the breeding resources links that it is possible to store pollen in glass viles stored in a freezer, but the main problem is that it cant be stored for long. i havent tried to store any as of yet im waiting to see if the way im trying to make some seeds this time around will work first.
