If one was to remove a side branch for the purpose of taking cuttings, and lets say it has 6 internode sights. Can viable cuttings be taken inbetween those node sights, or is the top of the branch the only place where a cutting should be taken? In simplier words can a cutting have been cut at the top and at the bottum, and still make roots?

Cuttings can be taken from all parts of the plant provided it includes a growing tip. Lower growth is closer to the roots and naturally contains more rooting hormones. If you were to cut an entire branch the top growth with a few internodes below will provide a good viable cutting. The portion below your cutting will not work well. Any growth shoots off that stalk that are long and healthly enough to clone can be used but the stalk itself with no growing tip will take some time and extra effort to be a productive rooted clone. I hope that helped a little..............good luck
