Hey there guys, I'm new here so you may not know me so hello nice to meet you! :) A quick introduction I am the mod at the Dutchbreed Grow Forum. I wanted to start getting around to more forums, cause there are not many members over there so I wanted to hear a few more opinions on their work. Dutchbreed is not a very well known seedbank and in my opinion they deserve more credit for their work. They offer some top notch genetics. I have a near 100% germ rate from their genetics and they always produce some unique top quality smoke. They offer some amazing unique and highly palatable flavors, and some top notch very unique and potent highs.

Well I always grow 100% Organic and I avoid all semi-organic supplements. This grow is like always all organic and grown in a compost mix consisting of all the regular organic goodies. Blood meal, Bone meal, Bat quano, earth worm castings, kelp meal...

I am growing in a 5x5 grow space and using a 1000 watt HID light. I use Lumatek ballasts and Hortilux HPS lamps. My hood for this garden space is a Hydrofarm 8" Radiant Air Cooled reflector. Also for those who are interested I am using a passive intake system and I am venting the room using an 8" CanFan MaxFan. I line the walls with 5 mil black/white poly and put white side in except for the floor. I use black side up on the floor.

I currently am growing 1 Crude Oil, 1 Quick Silver, and 3 Blue Ice.

Before we begin let me explain "Blue Ice". Blue Ice is an unreleased cross that Dutchbreed gave some of the forum members. It's genetics contains a blend of Blueberry and Brother's Grimm's Ice Princess. Ice princess is a hybrid of a very early version of White Widow pre-commercialism and Cinderella 88, who happens to be the mother used to create Cinderella 99!

These babies are day 21 into flower, or 3 weeks however you want to look at it. They are already producing thick resin extending to the end of the fan leaves and even covering the fan leave stems, main stems and bud stems! This thing isn't slowing any time soon either as it is supposed to keep flowering until it hits week 13! This much resin at day 21 in my opinion is remarkable when they need to flower for a total of 91 days!

Well enough chatting, let the pics speak for themselves! Blue Ice first

Here are a few of the fan leave resin shots and fan leaf stem resin. I also added in one macro of a small bud with a pretty leaf the shot was clear so I added it in too.

Just the last four Crude Oil shots, all of these pics were all week 3 - day 21 - of flower.

They were vegged for 1 and a half months and were left untopped. They are in 7 gallon pots. The Crude oil is 4 feet and the Blue Ice is nearly 3 and a half feet.

Here are some full plant shots and full room shots

Nice looking plants....welcome to MP

Thanks for the warm welcoming Lewis!

So, the Quick Silver that I have not posted pics of yet is not as high in THC as the rest of the strains but it is still a great smoke that has great flavour and quality of high.

The blue ice does not have a breeder's description yet but it's resin smells strong of an obvious artificial lemon-lime when touched. I also smell some fresh ground vanilla coffee coming from her along with a sweet sugary blueberry smell. Not so much like ripe blueberries but a cakey kind like a blueberry cake or a pie. Very nice to smell, I go to my room at lights off and just whiff the amazing aroma :D.

Here are the breeders descriptions:

Quick Silver > description > Quick Silver has heavy trichomes covering the bud and leaves giving it a silver appearance hence the name Quick Silver. She is fast flowering , and has a silky smooth skunk taste to die for. Quick Silver is a 40% indica 60% sativa mix growing medium height with a medium yield.

Flowering Weeks: 7/8
THC level: 15-21%
Yield per plant: 350 grams (in ideal conditions)

Crude Oil > description > Crude Oil is extremely strong in thc, it really will knock most out in one. Crude Oil grows fat big sticky oily buds that when touched leave your fingers coated in oil that's hard to wash off. She has a good flower to bud ratio with a heavy cover of trichs. Smells and tastes spicy and fruity at the same time. Crude Oil is 60% sativa 40% indica.

Flowering Weeks: 8/9
THC level: Strong 18-25%
Yield per plant: 320 grams up to 600 outside (in ideal conditions)

Dutchbreed has some amazing stuff in store, I heard their autos are the best as well. I have heard of some seed banks having 12/12s in their autos!:holysheep:
