my lady is about 4' 6" tall and i think it has an over fert problem... it has buds 4"-9" tall but all the leaves except the fan leaves on the buds have all dropped off and more yellowing is occurring every day. the buds however, continue to grow. please give me some advice as to how to adress the predicament

if the plant is close to being done they do that naturally with the leaves..Otherwise it is hard to say without a picture..how often and what are you nuting it with?

Hey Jayskiffy, If you can ? Post Picture of your Girl. It would help others diagnose the problem better, My first question would be how far into flowering is she, but as you have described the yellowing of the big fan leaves and them dying off is a normal thing to happen in flowering especially mid to end of flowering.
JJ:aok:

oh okay well she's well into flowering, started prolly a month and a half ago. when should i harvest her then?

I would suggest investing in a hand held microscope to check you trichromes i personally use my 10x25 small binoculars and turn them around works great for me. Depending on if it's a Indica,or sativa dominant and what type of high you are after will determine when you would harvest Her by color of the trichromes. All milky white starting into amber is your Key to watch them close or Like i said depending on whats your tast.:)

thanks jao I am too stoned/tired to type that. LMAO..........

aightt well moneys a bit tight right now i think ill just harvest mid-october like i have in the past... the leaves never really fell off the stalk for me tho thats why i was questioning it

Well i feel we need some pictures if you can swing it. It may be a Ph problem is she in a pot or the ground. Do you own binoculars ? :)

same thing happened to one of my plants. Turns out the soil in the bottom half of the pot was waterlogged to the point of being thick mud. Once I replaced the mud with new soil it stopped yellowing.
