Almost hit a cop car today!

hey, I was driving in town and traffic was stopped ahead on a double lane. Before I got stuck in that lane, I saw the next one was clear so I said **** it and swerved into the next lane without signalling before traffic locked me in. Of course I do it right in front of a cop car and almost hit him in the process. It was my fault of course and the cop was real cool, gave me a warning. I was thinkin (as I blew past a stopped school bus) afterwards: do they enter the warnings into their cop computers and how many successive warnings (in general) can you get? It didn't say anything really on the warning ticket, just some benign comment about safety. Just wondering about that litle bit of trivia.

Yeah, I think it's logged into the sytsem for 6 months or so if you get stopped again they'll give a ticket. Other than that it doesn't really mean anything.
