Any of you that have read or even responded to my past posts PLEADING for help with my grow know that I have been having failure after failure. But finally, after MONTHS, I have three beautiful and healthy plants.

After my last failure I decided to try and start them in the pots that they will be growing in for the whole grow. I planted the germinated seeds, placed them in the aquarium on top of the smaller pots (to get them closer to the light) and after a couple of weeks I have BIG and BEAUTIFUL plants!!!! They have four sets of veg leaves on each of them and they are thriving. I had to bury one of the plants to the bottom of the leaves because the stem broke, but amazingly it still lives!!! I couldn't be happier. :woohoo:

On another, more personal note, I finally finished my book. I am really looking forward to what my publisher has to say about it, and if it's okay with MarPassion I'll give everyone a link to download the e-book for free when it's published.

More personal still, I am pregnant. I wasn't overly excited about this before, but now that the idea has sunk in a little bit I don't think I'll mind having another kiddo. And, I keep getting signs that it's a boy. So I'm excited about all that too!

Anyway, hope all is going well with everyone else... just wanted to share all of my good news with all of my friends.

Love like always,
Metalchick

MetalChick - Congrats on everything! I'm not sure, but if you put a link to yer book - wouldn't we then all know your real name? Is that a security issue for you? Just being cautiously concerned.

Congratulations on your good news. Best of luck with the new arrival :)

I had to bury one of the plants to the bottom of the leaves because the stem broke, but amazingly it still lives!!!

^that up there no problem at all^ in fact, it makes for a stronger, more sturdier bush of a plant in the long run :) congrats on all, lotsa happy news

Thanks everyone for all of your positive energy!!! Between throwing up and trying to keep soup down, God knows I need it!

And to answer the question on publishing the book, no, it's not a security issue. I never write under my real name no matter what the subject is. I use the name R. M. James for my fictional works... not even close to being my real name! LOL!

The book is actually about a racehorse named Chasin' Dough... it is set in 2012 and the title is "The Greatest Horse That Never Lived", for obvious reasons. It is sort of about a horse that I would like to breed eventually, but it starts before this year's Belmont Stakes that Rags to Riches won. I was sitting there watching the race (I'm a horse trainer and I deal with a LOT of racehorses and love the races) and I remember when they showed her in her stall she just had a look like she wanted it. She had a look like she knew she was better than the boys she was running against. I tried to call the agency that I bet through to place a bet on her to win, but it was too late. At her payout I would've had $22,000 in my pocket if I could've got that bet in on time. Disappointing, but it inspired me to write a book about a trainer who DOES place the bet and manage to breed a dream horse with the winnings to start her own breeding barn (my dream!!)

And no, I have no problem proofreading papers for anyone who needs it... but please make sure you're name is NOT on it. I would hate to be held responsible for that.

And don't worry Berserker... my husband already wants to name him Wolfgang... that'll be bad enough for him! LOL!

Anyway, thanks again everyone for your support and good MoJO... I really need it. And again, when the book is officially published I'll post a link if MarPassion doesn't mind.

Thanks,
Metalchick

2012? does that have anything to do with timewave zero and the novelty theory?? :D
