I am about a week and a half away from harvest so you won't be surprised to hear that I have started sampling my buds a bit, gently microwaving them dry. Everything I've read says that my sample is not representative of what I'll get when everything is dried and cured. My question, though is: In what respect is that true?
I'm sure that the taste is much better after drying and curing and that the resulting smoke is much smoother. Beyond those differences, though, is the potency of my sample bud representative of what I can expect from my harvest? Or will potency increase noticeably after drying and curing?
