600 watt kit

Looking to buy a new 600 watt with a 6" vented wide hood to fit in with my present system. Most I have seen on line (lumatek) are running about $400.00. This is do-able but figured I would ask if anyone has spotted any good deals lately... Generally I am seeing the ballast, cordset, hood and they will generally throw in a cheap bulb as part of the kit. HTG has some ok deals but not seeing too much else, even on ebay, that isn't garbage. Thanks..

Last time I went to there brick and mortar location(HTG) they told me they would set me up with 600watt digital, vented hood, and both bulbs for under $300.

Are those prices with a vented hood and HPS and MH? If so those are really great prices for name brand stuff.

They have great prices on the hardware, but don't include the bulbs - I bought 2 lighting setups from them and found they always had the lowest prices. Awesome inventory as well.:hubba:

The nice thing is that they send the right cord for the ballast so it's totally plug and play.

My local shop sells the lumatek 600 for $280.00. The only decent thing they offer is a loaner if the system fails.. For $280.00 I would be fully disappointed if it failed.
