I'm vegging in a 4x4 grow box under 2 T5 fluorescent lights. they are in 6x6x6 gordon rockwool cubes, in a 3ft x 3ft botanicare ebb & flow system with a 40 gallon reserve. i'm using RO water and 5ml of floramicro, floragrow, florabloom, and floralicious per gallon. I mixed 5ml of floralicious with 1 gallon of RO water and mist the leaves every morning. I have fresh air coming in and a small fan to circulate the air. the temp is at a constant 71 degrees and humidity is at 72%. The lights are on 24hrs a day. The water is room temp and there is a air stone in the reserve. I think thats all, if more info is needed let me know.

Got any pics?? Sounds interesting...
Here is some green mojo for you..........good luck

Welcome GrowUsome! Your humidity is high. I wonder if you need more moving air? I would hate to see you get any mold issues because of too much moisture.

didn't think mold was a problem in the vegging stag. thanks i'll put a dehumidifier in there today.

thanks again!! and I'm trying to get my pics on here. i should have them up in bout 20 min

the leaves on some of my plants have started to curl, and a part of one has a little brown spot. now i wonder is it because the humidity is too high. any suggestions?

Be careful not to over-water. Leaf curling is a sign of that. Also check your ph, I didn't see any mention of that. That could well be your issue too. According to Jorges medical bible, 24 hours continuous light may in fact be counter productive. Plants need the dark period to process all the sugars they make during the day.16 hours a day will produce more fems, and save you money as well. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Also it is possible that you are over fertilizing with the misting. Lay off that for a while and see if they bounce back.

ok, a dehumidifier is in place, the light has been changed to 16hrs a day, a extra fan has been added, and ph is at 5.5. i've been watering for 20min three times a day, is that too much? i have a small algae problem so i got some plastic light blockers for the rockwool cubes, hopefully that fixes that. and i'm not misting them anymore. thanks for all the advise

ok i made some changes since my last post. 5 of the purple haze are in transition to flower. they are in a 8' x 4' x 6' grow tent, under 2 600 watt hps. i water twice a day at midnight and noon. i'm using a 50 gallon reserve and 18 buckets. temp stays at about 73 and i got the humidity down to 60 still trying to get it down lower. the lights are on from noon til midnight. i have a couple of questions, can i just bring air in from outside the grow tent, i ask because right now the temp outside is about 97 with very high humidity, will the air in the basement be enough. i switched them to flower when they get about 18" because i don't really have a lot of vertical space. here are some pics i appreciate all comments thanks, oh another question can i plant a mother plant in soil and clone her then grow the clones hydroponically ?

4' x 4' x 6' grow tent where the veg in. the purple haze grew kind of tall, i like the way the white widow and the sweet tooth grow, low and bushy. i stopped misting, only water twice a day and changed to 18hrs of light a day. they seem to like it. this is like a game of chess you make a move they react, you try to make all the right moves so they can stay happy, I LOVE IT!!!

As long as your not exhausting back into the basement then using that air should be fine, i wouldn't wanna be sucking in 97 degres either.
And yeah once a clone is cut ya can do what ya like.

Could i get some close ups o the sweet tooth?
Ordered some today and i know nothing about growing it or what to expect.
I am interested in the structure of the plant.
Are they under CFL's yeah?

well it's been awhile since my last post for these girls. the purple has grown to about 8 ft, which isn't good at all. it touched the light and burned itself. i moved it and now it has grown past the light and hit the ceiling of the grow tent. it is taking light from the other plants who are smaller. they are starting to piss me off. they have some buds on them but not a lot. the leaves are just starting to turn purple. i saw one of the hairs on the purple is turning brown, good i can't wait to get those ******** out of there. i know it's my fault that they are so tall, i just don't know what i did. i stopped putting flora grow in the reservoir and they seemed to stop growing tall, but its too late now. anyone know how to keep them from getting so tall? well here are pics.

oh the two tents share the same reservoir. one tent with all short plants were put in about a week after the purple so they didn't get that much flora grow i hope they stay that size. they are perfect, except i should have clipped the bottom 1/3 of the plant. i'm still learning.

and i'm still trying to figure out how you guys take close up pics of your buds
