1000 watt metal halide

I have a 1000 watt metal halide and was wondering if anyone has tried these red spectrum halide bulbs. (sunmaster warm deluxe or agrosun gold) I am using a regular halide bulb now and was wondering if the red spectrum bulbs will increase my yeilds thanks.

Well this doesn't answer your ? but offers an alternative. If i were you I'd stick with MH you have now and purchase an HPS for when you flower. That will give you the maximum yield you're looking for.

I already have an 1000 watt hetal halide setup I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the sunmaster warm delux or agrosun gold bulbs and compared to see if you get better results in bud yield. Its alot cheaper to buy a bulb then a whole new setup.

Just use the MH bulb for vegg then get a HPS conversion bulb, much cheaper than a new setup and all the goodness of HPS.

The standard bulbs IMO are just as good as the pricey ones.

Ive completed whole grows with MH and was happy with the results so dont feel that you have to get anything else.
