Autos are all I grow. I'm at day 60 of a Northern Lights plant, 34 inches tall. Sits in the corner of my office with 900 "watts" of LED light 20/4 with some aluminum foil to shield and reflect the light. A Fabreze Plug-in smooths out the smell. I take it outside for sun every day (after...
Yes, I'm not going to get a big harvest from this plant. It's very robust and flowering well but it's only 19 inches tall at day 48. Fortunately I have plenty of last years, Girl Scout Cookies on the shelf. That stuff is killer.
From the Nirvana website: "When the plants are flowering, the aroma is intensely fruity...."
Really? Smells of cat piss to me and it's not a low odor plant as I've read and chosen for that reason.
I take her outside each day to bask in the sun. At this time of year the sun is at a low angle so the black pot can get very hot. The foil reflects the rays and the pot stays cool.
Yeah, I've got some Blue Mystic Auto beans on the way from Nirvana....Hmmmmm....
I've grown Northern Light & Girl Scout Cookies from them with great success. I'm a little concerned.
What? The shiny side of aluminum foil sure is reflective. Green thumb growing sense goes along way too. Unnecessary fussing is a waste of time and money.
I had the plant in the corner of my home office with lights running 20/4. Two small Vornado fans on low ran constantly. I used aluminum foil as reflectors and didn't do any sort of tenting or enclosure. I have central air. Temp is/was 77 (or less) & humidity is about 55%. On sunny warm days I...
It all worked out fine, a very easy grow with no problems. The only issue was the plant itself. The Nirvana plant described as "short" was almost 5 feet tall with the 2.5 gallon pot.
I'm going to have to make a decision soon. My plant is devoid of leaves and just a very few trichomes have turned amber. Day 86. Got some foxtailing now on the main cola.
