I'm coco/pearlite and have found I need to water enough that there is runoff It acts to flush the pot and keep salts from building up. Salts building up in the medium will lower the PH even further Those salts have an osmosis effect on the plant thats not good.

Need to know a few things to diagnose What fertilizer and how much What grow media you using Watering cycle and how much and PH Temps and RH
