trichs are the things on the buds and leaves that look like sugar. when you look at them through a magnifing glass they should be clear,cloudy and amber colored. you want to cut when you see more amber color than cloudy or clear. i like to get as close to 50/50 amber cloudy. just because a plant can turn purple doesn't mean it will. conditions must be right in most cases for the purple to show. normally lower temps are needed to get purple. if anyone else has grown this strain please feel free to jump in here. lol

i use a the hanna checker also and mine takes a few minutes to get a good reading. it will drop pretty fast till it get close then it moves .01 at a time then when it hits the right ph it will jump from say 6.49 to 6.48 back and fourth.
