Thanks for the comments everyone! But I forgot to show my new veg room mascot. It's been getting pretty cold downstairs and I noticed the plants in my veg room were growing real slow- so I bought a little heater to put in the room and within a couple hours I found this little guy in there haha...

Well I went with the advice of boiling the hydroton and man is it easy haha definitely will be doing it this way from now on. I just used this real big stew pan we have.. I really don't know if it is called a stew pan, but if I were going to make some stew I would definitely use it haha ...
