Yeah you can dry bud in an oven if you don't care about weed. But the slower you dry a bud, the better it tastes, smells, burns and the higher you'll get. That's why people dry them in bags rather than an oven.

I only recommend misting if the plants are suffering a nutrient deficancy, as a "quick fix". If you spray during flowering you run the risk of getting bud rot.
