Lifted the light to its highest possible point today. I have 20" from the top of the canopy... the lifting gave me 5", as I was at 15"as it was. Just moving along, nothing major to report elsewise.

....just cruisin' along. I'm literally in a "hurry up and wait" mode, lol! Everything is good, nothing crazy to report here.

Personally, I have two Galaxy 600w ballasts, one Quantum 600w ballast and one Lumatek 600w ballest. For bulbs, I go with "middle of the road" and get Ultra Sun.

Sorry THG, I'm a strong believer in "you get what you pay for" and there's just SOME things you should not settle on.. and for me, a ballast is one of them. I try to stay on the higher class side of that and mid class for bulb. Never low.. but surely know some people with good experience with...

That light you linked.. that's the cheap junk, all bundled up I was telling you to avoid in previous convo's :D

Whoa whoa... easy with shooting your water up and out of the water like that. Your prone to have that hose change directions on you an flood you out or something. When I mentioned point a pump from the bottom up to the top.. I didn't mean add hose to it. Just the unit, bare, raw by itself...

Good for trimming the ugly. I trim LOTS AND LOTS of fan leaves during veg and up to end of week 2 flowering. Exposing the nodes is GREAT! The nodes have smaller fan leaves... when you remove the larger ones, they expose the smaller ones on the ever important nodes!! Sure, when they grow up...

Thanks G13 :aok: I'm very happy with this light and space so far. But NOW is the test!! Now we'll see if it packs on the weight! I know this pheno very well and know exactly how it should end its structure.

You can do your own science.. not just what you read. So if leaf removal and transplants work for you.. then you've attained a hypothesis, run an experiment and come to a conclusion of the outcome based on your hypothesis. So.... you are doing science! :D :)

First thing I thought was either nutes on leaf, or maybe you sprayed with lights on or had transpiration on leaves which caused a "lens effect" on the leaf, burning it.

Pic 1 is Tent 1 which was the tent recovering from the major Broadmite infestation. All recovered, and buds are developing nicely now. Just a bit taller and more "cluttered" than I'd like it.. but still will be a good one I think. Pic 2 is Tent 2 and I'm quite happy with this tent. Definitely...

Yeah, if it was any other bag (blue etc) and not the yellow bag.. it's not the right blend at all for MJ! Yellow bag has everything a new plant needs. Coco / Myco / Perlite / Peat .. I like the Myco and Peat added to the Coco / Perlite. Peat for some retention and Myco for root promotion :D...

I agree with HP.. if you do soil, do soil.. amend it etc. If you have soiless, do it in a hydro form.. stuff does build up toxicity quite easily.. I've had first hand experience there lol!
