Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I can see how they would be super happy in hydro. I can also see that killing off the bacteria in the soil is bad. So I was able to take advantage of it and get to seedlings. I'll put it away till the next time. Thank you. 👍 🙃

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Well it's unanimous-they all sprouted. Who knew about hydrogen peroxide? Since germination went well should I add a little hydrogen peroxide to their water each time?

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

WOW! There are only 2 cups that have not shown a seedling yet. I do have them all with a baggie over the cups for high humidity. They seem to like it and it must be the boost they got from the hydrogen peroxide.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Yikers!!!! I think I will have 100% seedlings too. They're all popping up. So, I will use hydrogen peroxide method for germination in the future. I followed the science and it works (in my opinion). I put 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide in about 1/2 c water and soaked them for about 8...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

you betcha....Typical Napa weather. Marine layer in for a "soft start" to our day. Works really good for grapes. Double checked the timer this morning-18/6 for the lights, tent a balmy 76/w 54% hum. I may have 100% germination but do I have 100% ability not to F this up. 😜

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Germination was 100%....Some of these seeds were from last year. I didn't let the tap root get long this time-I've left them to get up to 3/4 inch but this way by planting (carefully with tweezers) I won't have as much of a chance to damage the root. Now the tension starts - did I put them in...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

OK, took the leap. Before I read your post I decided on about 1/3 c water and 2 tablespoon peroxide 3%. I watched some guy on You Tube at a college who did a whole germination test with cannabis seeds. The ones that grew tails the first and looked the best were soaked in paper towels with 1% Hyd...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

We had the best time. Drove from Napa CA up past Mount Shasta, to Crescent Lake OR and back down the Pacific Coast. Very nice. The different "woods" were neat - Redwoods to monkey scrub.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I really wanted to have baby plants by now but has not happened yet. Expanding tent space so moving boxes and junk etc.. And I need to plug in the seed mats and I'm out of plugs for the moment. So, my actual question is "What about germinating seeds with hydrogen peroxide?"... Hubby was...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Sour 60 Auto came from JustCannibusSeed.com It's where I bought my first test seeds from. The seeds germinated-I murdered them. If I remember I think 4 out of 6 germinated.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I live in Napa and the climate is mild. Rarely do we get days over 100 or freezing for long periods of time. Any growers use greenhouses for their plants? I have raised vegetable beds but room for small pop-up greenhouses. I suppose for overnight and then open them for the day? Any one have...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Hi everyone.....Harvest went well as drying and curing. We now have a bit for smoking. I processed the trim and other leftovers Love ladybug releases. I do it at least once a year in my garden. I may be growing some outside this time around and I will remember ladybugs. THanks

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Hi everyone.....I'm back. I followed all the advice and harvested, dried and cured the buds. Now we have our own supply and it's ok to smoke. I also followed your advice and processed the trim and small buds as suggested. I decarbed then cooked in a crock pot 1 cup of butter, the 2 pkgs of trim...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Hey you....and everyone. We have been enjoying the fruits of my labor. Not bad for a first attempt. Learned A LOT!!!! I have my trim ready for the crock pot. There really isn't very much. How much water do you put in with the butter? And cooks for hours??? Already have the lemon bar and brownie...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Glue Cookies yielded the best with 2 full jars curing. Shock Trauma gave me about 1 jar for 2 plants. I think Shock Trauma was the one that gave a really nice high and then it was gone within 1/2 hr to 45 min.. . The Black gives me a headache and yielded the least with only 1/2 jar...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Just wanted to say High.... I followed the instructions from the "Grow Weed Easy" for the drying and curing. For the technical. The ideal curing should be about 70 deg and 60-62%. I have the humidity packs in and all the jars are in the cure zone and when I pop them to get a breath of fresh air...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Yep, I saw those instructions too for making butter. I covered all the bases for decarbing. I bought the Magicbutter decarb box, a sous vide machine and a pot lid (no tank) and I have a food saver vacuum system that I use ALL the time for meats etc on sale and I have canning jars. I can vacuum...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I have both while I'm still thinking. Still thinking. I did a test and took all the loose trim that I thought was "dry" and put it in 2 jars. I put the hygrometers in. One was 60 something and the other was 75. I opened them, gave them a shake and they are breathing. I'm practicing for curing...
