Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I just used zip ties to the tent since that's too much work for the pvc thing and I can only access part of my tent sinces its completely hidden in my closet.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Wow that's really dark green. Looks like mine when I gave waaaay to much nitrogen early. Now that I zoomed in I can see the reflection. I watch videos on people doing research so I suggest Debacco university on youtube for which you can see evidenced based methods to find out the truth. I don't...

Those are females. You just got lucky or feminized seeds. If you see ball sacs (pollen nodules) then they are guys.

Also 10+oz in a 2x4 with how many watt lights total and how long is your veg and flower cycle each? I heard getting 1 gram a watt is pretty good and in using a total of 220 which would be 7.8 oz

Lol I guess that question is to anyone who grows either gpd or a purple punch line. What temps did you need to get to the purple? At night I'm at the low 60's usually so I'm hoping I can get it purple. Peteovich, why are your top leads kind of all brown and funny looking? With a 30 cm x 40 cm...

Did your gpd turn our purple? I'm trying to keep mine on the colder side and hopefully my purple punch shows the purple hues.

Wow pretty cool submarine girl I'm tied with you on the flowering (3rd day as well today). I thought I started on Monday, but I goofed with the light settings. What strain are you growing?

    White Widow

I have famurs tf1200 and they go on sale as low as I think $70 ish? (It's on Amazon) It pulls 105-110 watts and you can see other people's photos with their plants. I'm using 2 of them in a 2 x 4 and it works good enough. For the exhaust fan I just used a cheap vivosun 6 inch so I don't even...

I can't remember that give away thing on one of the forums in here but it's like $3 a seed for critical mass super xxl and I think they're feminized.

It's probably just the phenotype to be honest. Always a runt in the family. If all other variables being equal, then it's the genetics that impacted the size ultimately.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

The octopot is awesome since a lot of roots grow into the water well thing and some roots are above that level which is dry so they always get oxygen and all the water they an possibly need thus growing much larger and faster than dirt without having the issues of pure hydro

They also have a commercial setup that you can hook up to a large resivoir and chain link like 10-20 pots together

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Oh Julie you gotta check out octopots or another SIP. My plants are growing twice as fast now and I don't have to worry about watering it (best part since I'm gone frequently). I put in 6 gallons of water and just add a few gallons here and there. It was a slight pain to set up but now I don't...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Wow so Julie what was the major thing that contributed towards your plants growing so well? I remember before they died mostly in the seedling phase right?

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Man I love this community so active! Whoops I misread the last question. For my tiny grow tent I have 2 plants. I'm sure I could have done 4 small plants, but seeds are hard to come by for purple punch at least for the feminized ones and also I'd rather just veg for another week and have less...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Well it depends on the size you want your plant to be. Based on all the videos I've seen 3 gallons should be fine for you. I'm using 2 plants in essentially 3 gallons in a 36 x 20 x 63 tent and is filling out nicely. More impressive is the people that do the red cup challenge. I believe...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

I'm just using binder clips with some pipe cleaners after slowly bending the stems and it's working good! Either way I would say slowly bend a few inches over 30 seconds otherwise you might snap the stem ( yep I did it on my first attempt lol)
