There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Chlorine and chloramine really isn't a big deal. If it's toxic for you, then it's toxic for the plants so why waste extra time for something that doesn't really affect anything. My pH is around 7.8-8.0 on the tap and ppm is around 230-270 and I just go with it and add the nutrients until it's...

I did that too and they just stayed green for forever, but no roots.

    Led's

Wow what a great deal! I bet you could offer $300 and they'll take it.

    Led's

Well I have 2x110watt led lights in a 18 x 36 and temps are around 78 and ambient is around 70. I think my electricity bill is $20-25 more with my exhaust fan and 2 lights in Los Angeles during 18 hour veg.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

They're kind of tall but I rolled down the sleeve around 10 inches and compensated by using a higher ratio of perlite so it doesn't wick up so fast. I think total it's like 28 inches or so if you use it correctly. I have a really short tent 60 inches, so I couldn't allow a 28 inch planter.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Does anyone remove all side branches during flower? I'm experimenting and doing that on one plant and keeping the other all natural aside from defoliating bottom 1/3

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

@petrovich There's veg plus bloom which is for the whole entire grow time. I really don't think an absence of nitrogen is necessary as a lot of this "bro science" tends to be bequeathed and is carried on. I'd just get a hydro blend of fertilizer and that'll ensure all the nutrients accounting...

Possible hermie? First time please help

I just use a famur tf1200 it's around $80-100 depending on sales and people have been getting around 110-120 grams on a 110 watt light is what I've read on reviews. (Good for 1 plant). An 1/8 is only 3.5 grams so you can do the math. If you just get 1/8 or 1/4 it's not really worth your time. I...

Hope your dehumidifier can hold up. Plants will give off a ton.

OK, I'm tired of liquid PH tests. Any tips on a good PH/ EC tester?

Meh my water is bad too. My ppm is 250 normally with a pH of 7.8-7.9. it's probably mostly calcium which is good for the plants and I have chloramine which doesn't evaporate from standing water. I just pH it accordingly and aim on the higher side of the ppm per stage of veg/flower and it's...

Need Cal/Mag? Week 7 flower getting rough...

So I didn't tied my own trellis net it's just the usual 6 inch ones by vivosun and attached with some zip ties. I don't know what the parent company is called but if you Google veg + bloom it's the first one up there and it'll take your plants all the way through. You just have to adjust the...

Need Cal/Mag? Week 7 flower getting rough...

So I'm very similar!! Mine draw around 105-110 watts ish ( I have two of them) and I try to save on my electricity bill. I don't even run a fan inside my tent as it would consume around 30 watts. I have my 6 inch outlet fan running at 50% power which draws 25 watts total and is able to move...

Need Cal/Mag? Week 7 flower getting rough...

Well I use around 3 gallons of soil (only half filled my octopot) but it has a large 6 gallon water resivoir that I filled up with nutrients similar to hydroponics so the roots are all down there. I was just reading that with people with plants of my size 2 feet so far during 2nd week of flower...

Need Cal/Mag? Week 7 flower getting rough...

Ohh I see what you mean. I thought you harvested the top colas and we're banking on the smaller popcorn ones to grow. I'm only leaving 6-8 colas and I'm chopping the extra leaves and branches and I think this should work well.

Wait why did you cut the buds off? I guess maybe save those and let your plant continue maturing the rest of the buds.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Random question. Should we be defoliating the small leaves near the bottle during flower since it's wasting energy to make big leaves? I defoliated the bottom 1/3 prior to flower however there's a bunch of leaves forming at the defoliated spots and I doubt they're receiving much light

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Well I think my feminized seeds were $15 each and non feminized was like $9 ish? But if the tests are $15 then not only are you wasting space, but time, soil and potential for pollen spread. Also I don't see any pollen sacs on your photos.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Umm they're about week 11-12 ish before I switched since I had slow growth due to pH problems then under and over watering. I think it'll be good though! Hoping for crazy purple buds.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

So I knew my tent is short, 5 feet tall, and I moved the fan vent on the outside and also have rigged the lights to get within a few inches on the top. I didn't anticipate using an octopot which is pretty tall, but I got an indica strain which are short and squat. Not sure how tall they'll...
