Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Photo update! Week 4 of flower completed! Weird one plant is dark green and the other is super light. Both are fed the same.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Yeah it's probably how much my images get compressed and the format. Based on the original file when it becomes optimized, it'll reduce the color bit (lowering total amount of colors in the pallet) and resolution. I mean if the picture is super bright, it'll keep that, but any picture with out a...

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Man this forum really makes the pictures low resolution, but your new growth looks pretty light however your leaves are super dark green too me. Feeding too much nitrogen prior?

Well green crack is uplifting but isn't fruity at all kind of piney chemically. Also try out pineapple express that one tastes great.

    second atempt

Why don't you just grow them under a few of the fluorescent lights for like 30 watts and when bigger use the hps. Kind of wasting a lot of electricity doing that in seedling stage.

Lol whoops this phone autocorrected that. Yeah it's just 110 regular ol watts Is your grow space 60cm x60cm or 60 inches? If it's inches then you could use one of the mars hydro fc-e 3000 or if money isn't a factor then fc 6000. If it's cm then maybe check out mogobe octopus 300. Only because...

    Led's

I have famur lights which are pretty cheap like $75-80 on sale for 110 watts and use Samsung chips with a good quality heat sink. One of the most popular on Amazon and a lot of people are happy with it. Kilowatt usage is 105-110

    First timer here, hello!

Wow that's really pretty that the lights slowly change like that. I was thinking of a strobe effect like led lights due on camera. I also got into trouble with the advice just keep it simple. Then I learned my tap water is alkaline and I didn't have the correct nutrients. So I'm pretty sure...

    First timer here, hello!

I used miracle grow and a lot of people used it in the day. Remember the plants don't care what form they get the npk as well as other micronutrients as long as it's there and in relatively controlled ratios.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

If it's too thick you may get mild mew/mold/bud rot. Light doesn't penetrate more than a few leaves depending on the wave length so your plant is spending a lot of energy to make leaves that will never make a return on it's energy investment

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Oh yes I've seen that a while ago. It's probably the absorption of potassium that changes the pH.

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Well only problem at 5.4, the plant doesn't take up nutrients and my pH just stays there. It's only when it's at 5.8+ that the pH will suddenly take off. I'm guessing it's a bit too low and locks out absorption.

Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Holy cow your vegetation is super thick!!! I just got done defoliating at 3rd of flower but I probably went a bit overboard. Well itll be a good test to see how much these flower can grow with a lot of light

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Yes I'm in a similar situation. When the plant takes up certain nutrients it will alter the pH and swing upwards if you don't have the correct balance of certain nutrients. This was in my octopot instructions. I really don't know how to adjust it to keep my pH neutral, but I generally have to...

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Octopot is similar but mine holds 6 gallons of water which is nice. I adjust my water until it's pH is at 6.0 for my purposes so like 2-4 times per gallon which is a pain

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Nope! Using an octopot It's great as it always has the optimal water amount and oxygenation. I started in only soil, but it just never really took off that fast, but after transplanting, it's growing 50% faster or more. The small picture was after transplanting and the other one ( post below...
