I fill my 5 gallon dwc up high enough when a close is in it that it gets damp from the bubbling water... With a dwc setup.. where the roots will be in the water 24/7.. you NEED aeration... if not the roots will rot. I'm not sure what size basket you have.... I have the 9'' kind that fits on...

well less is better then more... try 1/8 or 1/4 strength... and if the fans are yellow from def... then add a lil more... overdueing causes damage...

fluffy, stringy buds are from strain, low light or high heat... or some of each... thas it really... my bud is always a lil fluffy... and i get my hps VERY close to my colas... so i'm thinking it just happens.. if u use a electric trimmer it'll look/feel like the commercial on the street... or...

to start a mushroom spore you pretty much NEED mould.... i know someone that grew em a few times.... I know it is easy to overwater a lil much and have the top of your soil get a lil funky in soil.

hmm.. 4 1/2 feet isn't much space... perhaps some low stress training.

the part of plant in the background looks like a pistil... but the front left is definately a ball... on another note.... when the light is on the flash on a camera will sometimes clear things up.

yeah that gellroot is garbage... i tried it b4 too... it says it is for softwood cuttings tho... so maybe it has some kinda weird chems in it... u'll find the gell will dry out b4 nething happens with the roots... i think it would be better from a seed or something like that......

I wouldn't waste your time shipping in dirt... there are plenty of soils that are fine... for waaaay less then shipping it in. Re-using can definately be done... but flushing the soil isn't the answer... it must be composted.

you'll want a few smaller hps lights or ur gonna be WAY too hot with that area... i grow in a 6.5'x6.5'x.8' area with one 1000hps and it is difficult to keep it under 89degrees when the light is on.

you'll want to grow them out a bit... you don't have enough plants to maximize on a sog (sea of green) or scrog (screen sog) grow.

As long as you mix your nutes INTO water... and not together... u'll be fine. I use DNF Gro, Bloom, Gold, Black, Green, clear, Monster Bud, Superthrive and Pinemyte.

Use 1/4 to 1/8 strength nutes at first... see how the girls take it for a week... after a week they should be okay to go to 1/2 strength... next week.. full strength...... ****Food Strengths Vary By Strain..... skunk loves lots of nutes... can take a lot at a time, right away... white...
