I found just 3 adults on the stickies, so hopefully any larva that hatch will die a horrible death crawling over the razor sharp DE... I used an acid brush to sweep off some of the excess DE. I was more than a little buzzed when I spread it, vodka and weed. Surprised I didn't bury a plant or two...

I wouldn't use it anywhere near flower if I planned to smoke it. I did use it on a GDPA in flower last year, but I was only interested in her seeds. Even though it was in a tent with other plants infested with the *******s, the DE - water spray stopped them cold on the GDPA.

Thrips, definitely. Positive identification 30 seconds after I setup the first sticky trap. So forget bug bombs, Raid, ammonia and painting as eradicators. There are none in the tomato tent, and the only difference is it has positive air pressure. The fan blows in through a filter, not out. I'm...

I'll give them a few days and see. It's not on all of them, but seems to be getting worse. New leaves currently look fine.

Hmmm, I may have returned to growing too soon... I don't even know what this is, actually. Doesn't look like thrips or spider mites. No actual bugs on front or back of the leaves. Anyone have an opinion?

Canned chicken and some tomato slices... Soon as this diet ends I'm going to see how fast I can gain it all back!

Much better camera. The little ones got some nutes yesterday, and they grew a lot overnight. I guess I was starving them before. They are stretching a little, though. If the temperature stays below 90 today, I'm going to turn up the lights some.

One of the 8 SF seeds I left floating in water cracked open today, and I could see the sprout inside. The rest were still floating there doing nothing. I decided to crack the original 4 seeds and the 7 floating seeds to see if that would work. The first one I tried was crushed by my fingernails...

I believe seeds are classified as hemp, since they contain no THC. At least they are at the federal level. As far as I can tell KY bans cultivators from selling seeds, but makes no specific laws against buying them. So you can buy seeds from a seller in another state, and no KY laws will be broken.

Nice to wake up in a less insane world. Only thing I checked before checking my plants : ) Still looking for a better camera, but at least I can see they are still growing. Maybe it's time for some diluted nutrient water. I have a better camera coming. If it's good enough I want to give one...

Going to have to put a better camera in there, but it's sort of cool to be able to check on them from work. The temperature keeps wanting to climb into the 90's. last night I gave in and replaced the 4" fan in that little room with a 6" fan. I wasn't willing to turn the lights down : )

I would imagine the big thin fan leaves are more susceptible to the cold than the thick resin covered buds or even the stems.

    Jan’s Perpetual Grow

The Supafreaks seem to have a very high percentage of males. I'm half convinced they are mostly undecided until the first week or two of veg, and some environmental conditions make them choose male more often than not. I just can't figure out what conditions.

Sick baby. I dont know what the heck.

Looks pretty crowded with all those big leaves. Could it be just too many leaves too close together for the current air flow? Seems unlikely it could be over watered with a fabric pot and all that perlite.

Looks like they all survived the move from nursery to pot. The smallest was a helmet head for the first 2 days before I took pity on it and removed the husk. Not sure if that's a genetic trait or just the angle it started in the grow plug, but I don't think I will use it for crossing with the...
