Right...62%...I think that's what got me thinking about grinding. My homegrown doesn't grind like the dry weed I'm used to. Maybe the relatively loose buds I harvested have plenty of exposed surface area, but for larger bowls and joints it smokes pretty fine unground.

We're at 38 degrees north and much lower...600-800 feet right around here. Blue Ridge Mountains nearby go to 3000-4000, but overall we're temperate. Usually we would have had a frost by now, but not so far this year.

Brother I hear you there. I think having a regular household fan blowing on my little farm 24/7 saved me.

I'm curious who's still growing and who has harvested. I'm a rookie and didn't know what to expect, but have harvested one plant and have one still growing that looks like it'll have a week or two to go. I'm in central Virginia. What's yer status?

You know I couldn't resist a little puff from the harvest, and I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure something will still go wrong. Jar weevils or pink powdery mildew, what have you, but for now we're happy!🤞

When I think of how much mold, how many bugs, how much caterpillar poop, etc etc I must have smoked over the last 4 decades...jeebus. So big question here...making oils and tinctures...is there a "how-to" resource you can point me to? I'd like to give that a try if it's not too onerous.

You suggested potassium bicarb to me a while back and it seemed to do the trick. Better than milk, LCPT, and H2O2, to tell you the truth. I honestly haven't seen much, so haven't been spraying. Almost guaranteed I'll do an H2O2 bud wash just in case. I'm planning to go 10 weeks and cut 'em 12...

I've only seen this discoloring in one spot. The plant looks generally kinda ratty, but I'm writing that off to it's stage in life. I'm looking kinda ratty myself. The bronze leaves don't pull out easily, so hopefully not the dreaded butt rot...I used a stainless steel toothpick to poke around...

I'm thinking these look mostly clear but some cloudy. Do the little brown ones count as amber? (Outdoor/photoperiod)
