    anyone using lec 315's

Will they cover a 4' x 5' area? Currently, I am running 4 gavitas over a 4' x 20' table. Would I be able to run the same amount of hoods over that space or is 5 hoods a better choice? Even running 5 hoods over that space saves me over 800 watts of power per row, so I am interested. If you can...

    anyone using lec 315's

The fixtures you are running AM are they are the dual bulb hoods correct? How is the heat from these? I am hearing they are not bad at all. You are using 1 fixture to cover a 4 x 4 area? I am not sure of the coverage area of these lights.

    anyone using lec 315's

I know some cats using these on bigger shows and they are working out great. The fixture they are using are the set ups from Sunlight Supply that run 2 of these bulbs in one hood. From what I am told, they are keeping up with the Gavita's using less power and creating less heat. Spendy right...

    Who is running DE Hoods?

I am not sure what ballasts those are pictured. My guess would be a different config of the Gavita set up

    Light deprivation

Iv'e seen a huge increase in light Dep grows here. Folks are getting 3-4 harvests as compared to 1, and they beat the Fall influx of full season herb. Full season plants do produce more, as they are allowed to Veg longer, but Dep folks pull more overall because of the multiple cycles.

    BML spider 600

Here is some more info on why DE's will continue to dominate commercial cultivation. Stolen from a thread at ICMag. AGAIN...DE's are simply a better choice and just as efficient as a LED for larger grows. AGAIN, not to take away from the effectiveness of the LED for smaller grows...

    Who is running DE Hoods?

Stank...the ACDE hoods are great! You should be good.

    BML spider 600

Yes Dr... PJ has improved all home growers methods more then ANY other poster I have seen, on any forum. I think that is awesome!

    BML spider 600

Great reply Sir. Again...I am not trippin' on the "watt for watt", I do concede that an LED will produce more, watt for watt in the right hands, then a DE. Again...I can only achieve 1.36 gpw (so far my best with DE), but to cover a large area, DE is far more feasible and just as effective...

    BML spider 600

And Yes PJ, I have zero experience with LED tech, and that should be known. I am just going off the posts yourself and other do on the tech. I have only seen a couple of live LED grows myself. Definitely impressive in the environment it was in. I have much respect for you PJ, so don't take...

    BML spider 600

Sure are testy for an old man haha. I based my comments on the Video posted about the commercial LED grow, not your grows. We all know you are the master of LED tech. I am not challenging your authority. ( I love South Park). Thanks for the grow off invite, but I have outgrown my...

    BML spider 600

I definitely wouldn't say it crushes the Gavita's at half wattage. That BML runs at 670 watts as compared to 1000, my math tells me it is saving you approx. 330 watts. I wouldn't go by the comparision that 1 video, in a poorly designed room, shows. I am basing my opinion on the DE bulbs from...

    Who is running DE Hoods?

Whats happening fellas. I am not familiar with that particular hood, I run mostly open fixture Gavita's, but I do run some AC/DE hoods with the DE bulb from Phillips. I saw no significant difference in the open ended gavita's from the AC/DE hood rows. I can say from looking at the pic, imo...

Mars II 300W vs Mars II 400W

If I was a home grower, I would be using nothing but LED at this point. To me, LED's have proven their worth and PJ's grows show that you can grow top notch dank with them and have great yields. All I am saying is that commercially, the price point is simply too high to be feasible. As far...

Mars II 300W vs Mars II 400W

Haha Doc...no sir..not you. The cat in the Vid said he harvests that room 8 times a year, I call **. No way you can get that many clicks in a year.

Mars II 300W vs Mars II 400W

Haha Rose...he said 8 harvests a year in that room which is impossible. Steep Hill...shanagins again... Now, before anyone jumps me, I am impressed with LED tech for sure. They have come a long way and impressive results. With that said, I do not think they are at Commercial level yet. My...

    About Cannabidiol (cbd)

Spoken like a person who has no idea of what CBD really is. CBD's is THC degraded?? So much false info... Folks that use CBD are true medical patients, as CBD's do not get you high.Obviously you have not had any interaction with folks that benefit from CBD rich products. Kushes and OG's...

    General Hydroponics and Monsanto

Unfortunately, All of our familiar Hydro products companies will be bought out in the coming years by "the powers that be". There will be no way around it. Home Organics will be the only way. They are gearing up for the actual growing part also. Here is a fun read THG...

    General Hydroponics and Monsanto

It just sucks either way. I liked that GH was more "stoner" owned. I can't really blame them for selling out, I am sure the check had a lot of zero's.

GG#4 2014 LA Cannabis Cup winner

Nice plant bro! I have been hearing a lot about the GG4, havn't seen it firsthand yet myself, but I put out feelers to get the cut. Pretty plant and I like the structure. I hear ya about the SFV, that's what I have been smoking lately.
