    Organic living soil pH issues!!?!

don't worry about soil ph so much, runoff is more important (6.2-6.8). you can have "zones" in your pot that have different ph's . if using liquid ferts i'd watch the runoff closely, but if dry amended soil is done right runoff isn't as much a worry for me. the chelates (organic...

    Organic living soil pH issues!!?!

only soil probes worth maybe anything are somewhat expensive, $60-100. why are you concerned with the ph of the soil, do you have plant issues?

    Is this okay for compost

i don't know what i am looking at but it has milk in it. i stopped reading once i saw that. don't compost animal products or oils edit: animal products such as manure is ok as long as that animal does't eat meat

Trying something different what do you think

well perlite as we know is for aeration and vermiculite is for water retention. you say they work against each other, but do they? i think not. without the vermiculite i'd be watering 3x's a week. perlite is to keep compaction at bay and aerating that's it. been doing it for years without a...

Trying something different what do you think

happy frog soil is good for seeds or clones for about a month w/o addition for fert imo, when watered with em1, camg+ and molasses. i also add a 50/50 mix of perl and vermiculite at 1part and 1 part ewc to 2 part hf soil. after a month they get repotted into a supersoil. getting ready to mix...

    Bubba Kush small tricomes

food grade DE is harmful to your lungs. don't matter if it's food grade or pool grade it's all silica and silica sucks to inhale, pool grade more so as it's like inhaling nano razors. i know people probably won't be horking lines of it nor the fans kicking up dust clouds, but don't say, "it's...

    Problem white widow

max temp 80 with around 50% rh in bloom. ok, now we know you have amended soil, so yeah i'd go 1/4 strength at most. reason being autos need less. give em nutes when they need water. however long they've been showing bud sets then go from there. usually when i see bud set start i give one...

    White Widow Auto. Over dried?

Yeah I like to aim for around 7 days of dry. Also snapped branches that aren’t completely off the plant can be saved. Take pipe tape used for threads of pipe and give a few snug wraps of that and done. Don’t even have to remove, the plant will break it. Don’t need to use blue monster, the cheap...

    Problem white widow

idk if id go to 1/2 strength to start. it appears your tips are showing a touch of burn right now. like ky said, is your soil amended? also, why the co2 bag if you have ventilation pulling it out? lastly, i'd take the can fan pushing into the tent and remove it all together or make it so you...

    Blumat Watering System

i have used those lil carrots. i used 2 to a 3gal square bucket with good results, but if i were in a 5gal i'd go for 3. i also had the nute rez bottom higher than the pots by 3 or 4" outside of the grow room. make sure to add air and every couple days feed molasses to keep the critters happy...

    Spiraling growing tip leaves.

i've had it too, but like you said it works it way out real quick so i never figured out what and why. i grow organically and it happened with a batch of super soil i had. i chalked it up to just a titch too much of something. sorry i'm no help

    autos, huh?

trying to get used to this explosive growth and low nute rates these rudi's need. obviously the delicious candy wants more, but it's nutso how fast they deplete themselves growing. i can actually watch em darken up, grow at hydro rates and start to fade. hopefully the 1/4strength will help...
