    "bed" gardening

Thanks to sage advice here (Jeff Lowenfell's books), I am going back to soil. I couldn't put them down. Gotta get a microscope ha! fascinating stuff Now I have 4 useless 2x4 foot tubs, 2 about a foot deep and the other two, half that. I'm thrilled that I can re-use the earth but I'm going...

    Week 1

By gar, I think they might make it. The bigger pots are just the all purpose organic bag, RO water and I dumped my last batch of tea a week ago. 2nd picture a tad closer, you can see different node lengths (rough start) Would you trim these? I'm carrying on with just with RO water, 5.5 runoff...

The little bopper, micro brew “2”

Sorry Alasgun, I didn't mean to screw up your thread, but I'd like to leave this in case there's something obvious no stones, just the air from the 70L/min pump. I couldn't get duck's to work, it did pretty much the same as this one. The pipe spits up some water but that's it. I drilled holes...

Both grows are packing it in. I thought it would be more obvious grouped with the previous pictures. See top pics #98 and #99 ... this is truly pathetic. I'm going to watch a horror movie where people get slaughtered instead of plants.

The little bopper, micro brew “2”

I was sifting through all the recipes and this was one of the simple ones. You have worms in your tea? There's another reason not to use a pump, I bet they machinate (or whatever that word was) real good.

    5 gallon micro-brewer DIY

I gave up and made mine out 1 1/2 ABS, figured I'd skip the glue and hope for the best. It's not work... I think my pump is too week... 80W 70L/min Nothing comes out the top or just dribs and drabs. I took off some pieces and can get the surface pretty raucous but no venturi for me :-(

    Week 1

I have a quart left and don't know anybody else growing. I had about 1 quart run off from all 8 after watering measuring 6.3 pH and 1100 ppm I'm in a bit of a quandry as to what to feed the next batch coming up. But I have time, some synthetics to use up.
