    Bud washing

Wow! As microscopic as trichomes are, a big enough rain drop could knock off thousands. Idk what I'd do to remain stealthy, and bring them to harvest. Tricky situation. Last year was my first time outdoors since...... 1976 or so. Good luck.

My second attempt at OD in 30 years. Currently strawberry cough, strawberry daiquiri, krytox, zombie kush, and Bruce Banner

Woo-Who! I bet you're watching those gals a little closer now. Last year everything was just awesome...... Until just before it was time to whack. Hopefully you don't have the weather issues we had last year. But it is the state we're in..... Ya may want to figure out some sort of cover for them...

Growing pains for pot industry in famed California wine region

I agree wholeheartedly! It's been legal in my state since Dec 2017. I live in a very progressive college city, and there is still zero dispensaries open in this town. Legalization has done nothing for me. It hasn't changed my life one iota. It's just business as usual. Our governor even made it...

Growing pains for pot industry in famed California wine region

Doh! And nobody mentions that CA grows tens of millions of tons of pot than it could ever ingest itself. Because everyone is growing huge out there due to the seemingly limitless personal production. And where do you think these overages wind up? I can't remember exactly how much, but I heard...

    hydro setup

You're gonna need 3" net cups. I'd just look up Stinkbud's systems. They use 4 or 5" vinyl fence posts. As stated above, the pvc pipes you displayed are too narrow, and will very quickly be overgrown with roots. I don't even see anywhere for your manifold, and sprayers to fit into something like...

    Are L.E.D.'s worth it?

I've been thinking about buying some Verta 8's, but haven't done so yet. I'm wondering if the plants use nutes different under LEDs. They are easily the brightest lights I've ever seen.

    mites. I've got em

I've used Spinosad at 90ml per gallon in my soil. When applied at this rate every 6 days, and 0.5ml per gallon of BTI every 3 days it got rid of my fungus gnat issue very well. Without any issues whatsoever for the plants. Now if I see any fliers, I just water with BTI a few times, and I'm good.

Man I'm almost after a few failed attempts I'm getting Flowers!

It is an accumulative issue. If you go long enough at that temperature the bacteria that causes root rot will explode in population, and very quickly render your roots mush. Rez clear helps kill the bacteria effectively, without killing your roots, when added at the proper dosage. You can...

Man I'm almost after a few failed attempts I'm getting Flowers!

I wouldn't wait around to get another chiller. Go out and buy one right away. Don't wait. I see you're using rez clear. Hydrogen peroxide is the same thing. Root rot is not good. If you're tent temp is below 75°f, your rez should be okay. Otherwise turn up your AC, Until you buy another rez...

    Growing bigger buds

You've still got a long way to go. Hydro may produce bigger buds quicker, but not that quick. Lol! Patience Grasshopper!

Finally almost to my first hydroponic harvest..... hopefully

Well you're doing fine Ohiogrower420. What nutrient line are you using? Most folks think hydro is too difficult. I used to think it was for science geeks, but it's really simpler. As long as you have everything you need to keep your plants happy.

    Drooping Leaves ???

The sun is too intense for your cultivar. I'd guess you live closer to the sub-tropical zone, and your plants are temperate zone plants. Who knows? That's just my guess. I've seen a lot of plants do the same thing, and it's got nothing to do with your nutes. If you can, try some shade tarp like...

    Best portable dry herb vaporizer

I've had my Volcano since 2006. I really don't use it all that much. I notice that it has a much more active buzz than burning a joint. I also noticed that it seems to cause me issues with my asthma. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this.
