One Skywalker OG Seed / 10 Gallon Pot / 3x3 Tent / Goal = 1 Pound Dry Yield

I'm currently using an 18/6 light interval and the pic below shows the tent environment. I'm managing VPD and nailing the best #'s from 7am to 1am. During the overnight, I shut the humidifier when the light is off and yet the humidity is exceeding 70%, so I have to figure out what's driving that.

One Skywalker OG Seed / 10 Gallon Pot / 3x3 Tent / Goal = 1 Pound Dry Yield

I watered the plant this morning - exactly 1 gallon. The leaves were drooping slightly, for the first time since germination - a sign that more frequent or heavier watering is meeded. I added 1/4 tsp of Blackstrap and 5 ml of liquid silica to the water this morning. FYI: I 'top' 3 times when...

One Skywalker OG Seed / 10 Gallon Pot / 3x3 Tent / Goal = 1 Pound Dry Yield

I recently switched to organic living soil and I have become one of those annoying born-again Growers, passionate about bringing the word Organics to the people, LoL. Forgive me please, but I cannot help myself. I used to grow in a 50/50 blend of Peat and Vermiculite using GH's FloraGrow...

    Guptilla kush bagseed

Those colas were the fattest I ever grew and I give all props to the soil. I'll start that "journal" you suggested shortly.

    Guptilla kush bagseed

GreenMobster: I think my grow journal would be boring but I'd be happy to post weekly photos and describe how I train the plant. FYI: I grow indoors in a 3x3x6 tent and I'm uploading photos of my last grow just prior to harvest.

    Guptilla kush bagseed

Your way is obviously working well for you. My personal goal is to grow once for an entire year - one seed is all I need in a 10 gallon pot to yield about 19 ozs or so and organics specifically got me there. I pop another seed about 5 months before I run out and I'm good to go. Have a good week!

    Guptilla kush bagseed

Have you ever considered organic growing? I started in a 50/50 blend of Peat and Vermiculite amended with dolomitic lime and gypsum. But that requires the following work almost daily: 1) pH the R.O. water you're using to between 5.8 and 6.5 2) Mix liquid nutes into the water according to...

What was the last movie you watched?

Dune and Dune 2, which caused me to read Herbert's first three Dune books.

The guy who plays Nefarious is a genius. An epic portrayal.

    Bag of Stonington Dried Out

So far, so good. It's only 8 days since germination and transplant. I have noticed that when planting into an organic soil, it takes a few days for the seedling to make all of its connections below the surface. It's like no growth is happening, but it really is. The seedling is sitting in...

    Bag of Stonington Dried Out

GreenMobster: here's my take on that dragon reference: whatever nutes were in the bag, remain. I do not think I have to manage the nute levels...my goal is to add enough c.f.u.'s to build a sufficient microbiome capable of breaking down the organics in the soil into plant-available nutes...

    Bag of Stonington Dried Out

I agree with you, if it works, why change anything? I started out in straight peat amended with gypsum and dolomitic lime using GH's Flora-Grow liquid nutes. It worked fine, but between the nute mixing, pH'ing and EC'ing even the runoff, I was getting tired. Stonington comes already mixed...

    Bag of Stonington Dried Out

Really? Luving soil freaks you out? LoL. That's just it...with a fresh bag of Stonington, all you do is water for 4 months, nothing else as long as you're in a 15-20 gallon pot. Less? No problem, just top dress in a few small amendments and the microbes do the rest. It's actually the...

    Bag of Stonington Dried Out

Hey fellow organic living soil growers - I purchased two bags of Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend. Unfortunately, I didn't begin germination until recently and both bags dried out. The pic attached is a Skywalker OG bean that just popped sitting in a 10 gallon pot with that same dry soil...

Legal Weed Market in Full Collapse

Great to hear you were able to be rid of the gestapo with your card. And in an attempt to bolster my argument about the legal weed market: You can now find 30% flower in Massachusetts for $140 an ounce - a 73% reduction in commercial value over the last 3 years.

Legal Weed Market in Full Collapse

Been there twice and loved each trip. I just retired and we're moving south - Texas is definitely on the list of contenders. Thanks.

Legal Weed Market in Full Collapse

I hear you...I'm sure there are Street growers who produce quality bud in Texas, but up here in NY, street weed is crap, improperly dried and cured, who knows what insecticides you are ingesting. The risk is too high, which is why I grow my own.
