Day 3! color coming from buds is greener and not as dark. Smell is still strong. Imagine old bong water. Smells just like that. I added a picture of the buds after draining. to answer an earlier question, there is no agitation so loss of buzz is minimal.

Yup I tried it last year and it worked great. The secret was a salad spinner. gets all the water out of the inside of the bud.

What I think is the hardest part of growing outside

Been thinking about this and for me, the hardest part of an outside grow is I’ve got one shot a year. I can’t do a do over in January or July. Plants in the ground as soon as I can then 6 months of babying and fretting over them until harvest. I’ve only grown 3 years, 1 plant the first year (1...

I smoke maybe a jar a year. But I love giving it away. Halfway through harvest 3 plants down 2 plants to go. Going to try and make hash. Have plenty to experiment with. Thanks to this site for the advice over the last three years when I began growing from 0% knowledge.

    Has anyone tried water curing?

The trichomes are not water soluble. So the impurities leach into the water without taking the thc. After 7-9 days of water changing the buds are about 2/3 the original weight and size but love making edibles with zero week grass taste.

    Has anyone tried water curing?

Like I said I did it last year. While I did miss the smell and taste, being able to smoke in a more public area with no odor was nice. And my edibles had absolutely zero grass taste which my wife enjoyed. Won’t do very much but it does have a place with Me. I’ll start some tonight and do a...

    Has anyone tried water curing?

I tried it last year with a small batch and it was wonderful to cook with (almost no weed taste) I’m wondering about using it with tincture which I’m just learning about. Thoughts?
