While I agree for the smoke, the tincture I just made and cookies with very little taste is quite nice.

reason the buds shrink in size is your taking out plant material with each washing (see picture) as the plants cells break down in the water it releases its cell bodies to the water (think a marsh or swamp) and if not rinsed would decay into sludge. But instead we removed the dead plant material...

No smell. Smoked some tonight no weed smell at all. Taste was nothing but was super smooth

Ground one of the jars. Put in the Ninja for exact decarbing. 250 degrees for 40 minutes.

Flower is dry and back in the jars. Notice the size difference from the dried bud. That’s what leeched out of the plant matter! Tomorrow we start Tincture.

Just the 100x clip on lens for the iPhone. These have sat in water for 6 days so don’t compare to just cured buds. But notice how there was almost no loss of tri’s they actually stand out even more since most of the plant chlorophyl is gone.

I will try the smoke just to try, but this is for doing tincture and cookies so the goal is to eliminate the weed taste, smoking would be secondary consideration.

So take the fresh, freeze it in bags then use it when you want. That seems to make sense to me. The trays are what I need to freeze

Gathered my buds from the small branches, going to put into ziplock bags and freeze for hash later on. Is it just that simple? thanks from a newb!
