June 13. Still have a few weeks of growth to go but over 5’. Girls are looking good topped them early and have multiple tops forming.

The Girls look better than any year. Starting them outside seems to have had very good effect on the growth early. 5 feet by June 6 is 50% better than any year. Very happy!

Plants are a bit away from topping

I’ll post picks tonight it’s raining right now but I want to top correctly. I topped two plants last year as an experiment and I believe they produced a bit more than those I didn’t. Any hints or ideas welcome.

Ok plants grew up outside so they are much stronger this year starting out Doing tomato cages for support and will be topping the plants.

And we are off! Doing something different this year. It’s a challenge to start plants inside then harden them off due to wild temp swings here. So I started my seeds paper towel for 3 days then immediately put in soil outside. Temps are 75 day 55 night. It’s a chance but I think I’ll have...

Not overly well. Crazy 6 months. Changed my business aug. Mom passed 2days later. Best friend from high school killed himself in November. Moms house froze in December 6 leaks 60,000 gallons water before we found it. Then 3 weeks ago got covid gotta get better lol

Going to do a grow thread this year. Hope everyone is doing well!

I’ve learned not to do enclosed containers. Next year I’m doing the same container but cutting the bottom out on a pile of good soil to let the roots expand but the upper container let’s me control the amount of fertilizer
