😳 trying to understand the math. 7 grams is 700 mg if weed is15% that’s 105 grams. Figure 25% loss to cooking for 4 cookies is 20 mg per cookie? Seems about right for someone with tolerance. Would put me on the couch for the night. will be interesting how the cookies turn out tomorrow

Does this look more in line? 13 grams 15% thc 1950 mg thc after cooking loss of 25% = 1462 mg thc 2 cups butter = 96 teaspoons 15 mg per teaspoon. 1/2 cup in cookie recipe 24 teaspoons = 360 mg 24 cookies = 15 mg per cookie. Thanks!

I’m trying something different with this first try. I am using water cured bud. It’s been dry and aged for about a month after 7 days in the water. Just finished the first step the decarboxylating used a mason jar in the oven for around an hour at 225. The smell after was amazing like strong...

That’s my plan. I’m reading about it now. Want to try making edibles with water cured bud so there is no taste.

Id love to grow that much but right now I just give it away to friends. I so enjoy the process of the grow.

Yea just can’t find jars. I’ll put them in something sealed until I can. dont want to pay Amazon prices I’ll find some eventually.

Right now I have a tray of bud I don’t have jars for, but the humidity in the house is 63% and the temp is 68 degrees. They seem to be actually curing better than my jar ones or at least just as well. Does it hurt them to keep them in those conditions?

I find myself in a weird place. I now have about 2 1/2 lbs in jars at 62% humidity in a dark cabinet at about 68 degrees. I smoke maybe once a month. I may have a lifetime supply so how to store long term is very important.

Am I trying to accomplish just an exchange of air inside the jar? Would it be ok to open a jar, put in front of a fan real quick then reseal? Instead of leaving the jars just open.

I have read and it doesn’t matter. Cured, dry, or fresh. But be careful when packing the jars. It all swells up. Both my quart jars had to be repacked into two jars each.
