    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Hi Greenmobster, Thanks! Ive totally butchered these plants, but I’m still amazed by the bottom feeders performance. I’ve found three bottom-feeding systems in my research that all work with coco and perlite. The GroBucket (see attached…..) which worked great, but it’s only 4 gallons of...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

They really are simple CrashMagnet. I have used them with coco (coco loco) and soil (FFOF) in the past and they work well. I like simple too. A true coco coir (coir bricks) and perlite is my next planned medium. Absolutely no need for top feeding at all. I’d appreciate seeing your...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Starting week 6 of flower. As I look at this grow, I’m constantly reminded that I intended to train these to grow short yet I’m dealing with a 57” tall plant. I can only think that it is all because of the supplemental infrared lighting which encouraged more stretch. The AC Infinity...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Good day! I’ve been away a while. Last time I posted on 11/14 they were at 27” tall. Now at 54” & 56” tall and in a new 2x4x8 tent because of the unanticipated stretch. I used a Mars Hydro supplemental IR light during this grow which may have encouraged more stretch. They’re tall….way...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

A lot of good options these days for bottom feeders. These AC Infinity watering bases really are working well. I still feel the need to top off the 1g bases daily with .7 gallons, but there’s virtually no waste. The downside to them is that it would be difficult to SCROG because the...

Thanks WeedHopper. I’ve actually made so many mistakes on this plant training (a lot of broken branches) that I almost scrapped them.

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

It’s been a while since I’ve updated (oct 22). Plants are up to 27” tall and finished their first week of flower. I completely screwed up my intended “quadline training”, so they are growing out without much training. I’m hoping to have sufficient space for the flowering stretch. I’m running...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Yes! Heat sinks on my LEDs. I’m not familiar with the latest LEDs, but I’ll bet these aren’t common any more. At some point, they’ll be “Vintage”. They’re just “Old” now…but they still work.

Thanks EbbnFlowr! I’m actually not watering these plants manually except to address deficiencies occasionally. All feeding is done through the bases using wicks. The base holds 1 gallon of nutrients. I have only used these self feeding bases once before using a soil medium and they worked...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

A quick weekend update. Plants grew 5 inches last week during week 3 of veg from 4 inches to almost 10 inches. They are stretching much faster than my usual grows with more spacing between nodes…..could be caused by several factors 1.) new infrared light schedule 2.) reduced lighting following...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Thank you EbbnFlowr! I’m always impressed at how friendly/helpful the people on this site are. It is greatly appreciated! This is only my third coco grow, so I’m sure I’ll have more questions. It’s also my first coco grow in these self watering fabric pots too. I will definitely tag you if...

What was the last movie you watched?

I agree Chubby. I Just returned from Saw X….graphic, gory and a good plot. I thought it was one of the best in the Saw franchise. My wife had her eyes covered for almost half the movie…..LOL Also watched a good movie based on a true story called “The Burial” with Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie...

Thanks! I thought coco was targeted for 6.0. I will definitely lower the ph for veg and see if that helps. The guidance is much appreciated!

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Today I observed some very early yellowing between the veins of the new growth. The photos don’t do it justice, but I’m suspicious that it’s either a nitrogen or sulfur deficiency. I am most likely wrong…..but it seemed logical since I’m in coco and the damage is on the newest growth leaves...

Thank you Thomas. Yes, I had forgotten about this DLI calculation approach until I stumbled on it recently. It’s nice to have a lighting goal and plan instead of guessing how much light they need. Best of luck with your grow!!

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Plants are growing quickly at this stage…here they are three days later than the photo above. The largest Zkittz plant is growing her 5th node. I will be topping after 6 nodes are formed. I think the plant is showing some minimal lighting stress, so I’m watching them closely under the higher...

    Godfather OG Quadline Grow

Here’s a quick update on the garden. I replaced the sluggish Godfather OG with a Zkittelz seedling that was growing quickly. Hopefully she survives the transplant and we move forward to 5+ weeks of veg without any other obstacles. I have one last backup seedling (LA Peyote Kush) in case one...

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

Thank you Rosterman! Yes, I am feeding it with 400ppm nutrient solution and 6.0 ph. I didn’t know that about OG plants, so I will give it another week. My backup seedlings can wait another week or two. I appreciate the guidance!

There are no Stupid Weed Questions

This seems like a good forum for this question since there “are no stupid questions”. I actually have what could be a stupid question…… Has anyone ever experienced a seedling with deformed twisted leaves that doesn’t want to grow….or grows much more slowly than the other seeds? Is it worth...
