    Super tight node spacing…

I’ve tried lst and it doesn’t work for me. I even got longer stakes and put em in at an angle as was suggested to me but instead of the plant turning towards the light it just turns into the hulk and pulls the stake out. Could be that I’m in coco and it isn’t as dense as soil…idk. I will try the...

    Super tight node spacing…

Just out of curiosity what is your strategy? I’m always open to suggestions and different ways of doing things.

Might be time for the cat to go 😬

    Super tight node spacing…

Yes and no. It really all depends on how bushy they get and this GSC is bushy as heck. But yes I routinely do a heavy defoliation twice in their lives and remove and and all lower nodes where popcorn buds will be. Basically anything that’s not gonna get light. It doesn’t hurt them and it grows...

    Super tight node spacing…

2 week update coming up on week 4 of flower. WW is looking beautiful. Starting to see trichomes build 😎 Just did the last major defoliation because she was pretty bushy and airflow was poor in the center. The post veg stretch was nuts‼️ She stretched almost 2 feet in the last 4 weeks…I hope...

    Super tight node spacing…

A little update for those that care. So the ww auto in less than 2 weeks has become very very nice. She’s a lil under 2 ft now and is growing like a weed 😁 I have to keep trimming and tucking she was getting so bushy. She is flowering now and hopefully in 6-8 weeks I’ll have some dank smoke...

    Super tight node spacing…

I know right. The ww looks as if it’s in pre-flower like I said earlier and it broke ground 2 months ago and the gsc broke ground on 6/9 so not that long ago for it. I tell ya what though…that ww STINKS! My charcoal filter is doing a pretty good job but when I open the tent to tend to them she...

    Super tight node spacing…

So after topping and a lil lst and removing those gargantuan fan leaves she seems to be doing ok and perking up. I’m going to do another round of lst. This other plant is white widow auto and this is what I mean by bad genetics. Someone mentioned to me that maybe the breeder rushed it and there...

    Super tight node spacing…

That’s what drew me in to em as well. Don’t need multiple tents for flower & veg, set the timer and forget it and the thought of a perpetual harvest. You can just really keep em going all year in the same tent. They just seem to start so slow compared to the photos I’ve grown…they’re usually...

    Super tight node spacing…

This will be my first time growing an auto but it just seems it should be much bigger than this. The breeder says it will yield 2-3 ounces but for this plant to already be a month old and harvest supposedly in 65-70 days (the main reason I chose this strain for a quick harvest) I just don’t see...

    Super tight node spacing…

Oh wow you would do that? That’s awesome of you and I’d definitely appreciate it. I’ll pm you. Tysm!

    Super tight node spacing…

I went ahead and topped it, chopped 2 fan leaves and did some lst and when it finally decides to grow out some bigger leaves from the new growth I’ll chop those other 2 big ones. We’ll see…this plant is just giving me bad vibes like it’s not really growing. It’s been the same height for almost 2...

    Super tight node spacing…

So I’m told. Problem is it’s been like that for like a week. It just stopped all vertical growth and started bushing up and out.
  14. Jgutta420

    Super tight node spacing…

Yea I think I’ll remove those big fan leaves. I can’t really tie anything down right now because it’s so compact with less than an inch between nodes. Hopefully that’ll encourage some upward growth.

    Super tight node spacing…

So it’s not a light issue because the plant right next to it has great spacing and is stretching nice. The issue is that those super giant fan leaves are blocking all the lower growth coming from each node. Should I chop two of them so light can get through. It seems to want to grow out instead...

    Is calmag absolutely necessary…

This is my first attempt at growing in coco as my last few were dwc. It’s not too too bad and honestly feels more like soil but the constant watering is wearing me out. I went from mixing up 1 gallon of nute solution to 5 and within the next week it’ll be 10. It’s just so time consuming and...

    Is calmag absolutely necessary…

I paid $16.42 for 1 quart and the gallon was $43 so a bit of a savings I guess. And it has exactly what you said it has. I’m still green when it comes to growing hydroponically and using liquid nutes as I’ve always used potting soil and osmocote as my fertilizer with good results. A buddy of...

    Is calmag absolutely necessary…

I soaked it in a heavy dose of calmag over night before using it but I would think that it’s long gone by now. I always water to runoff to avoid salt buildup but I water with calmag every time so I’m sure there’s plenty of calcium in the coco. I’ll look into the calcium nitrate though.

    Is calmag absolutely necessary…

I know I’ve been bombarding you guys with questions the last few days and I appreciate all the help. So I recently switched over to gh flora series trio and was wondering if I still need calmag. I mix up 5 gallons of nute solution at a time so it’s quite a bit of calmag I have to add on top of...

Roots growing but plant is not…

I wish the birds around here were 420 friendly. Maybe then they’d take it down a few notches and stop flying into my damn windows.
