I started a 1 liter liquor bottle grow on the coffee table, and thought I'd see if anyone else wanted to participate, but I haven't seen any responses yet.
Anyway, I thought I'd post progress here, in my own personal grow journal... and if anyone else catches on and would like to join me just jump on the train!
I know I said I was gonna do the 16oz cup grow, I'm thinking I wanna do something a bit different while still doing the 16oz cup grow. So, I decided I wanna try and grow in a liquor bottle. So, if anyone wants in, the rules are in an attatchment on the message in the coffee table forum.
I will be growing in soil, in a one liter Triple Sec bottle. I did not drill holes in the bottle for drainage, but I did include a layer of gravel between the top and bottom levels of soil, about 1/4 of the way from the bottom of the bottle. My seed is bagseed, and has been germinated for 5 days.
After filling the bottle with my soil I used a pencil to reach down the neck of the bottle and poke a small hole for my seed. After dropping the seed in with a pair of tweezers into the hole, I used the pencil to lightly cover the hole back up. I watered it with MG Planting and Transplant starting solution.
It will be on 12/12 from the start, under a 1 and a half foot sunlight spectrum flor.
I will post pics and keep you posted.
Thanks,
